Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. When the camera is showing different angles of the Sticker Fest, you may see the crystal arc over the Sticker Comet and Princess Peach. You can see a Mushroom model, a Fire Flower model, and a Star model up there, but what is the fourth model you can see?

Answer: An Ice Flower

When it shows to Sticker Comet flying into the air, the camera is pointed so you can see all four at once. After Mario is knocked out and wakes up, you can see the Mushroom model and the Fire Flower model hanging from the front of the stage. As you progress through the game, the Toads try to rebuild the Sticker Fest, and they will put the four models back on the reconstructed arc.
2. During the Sticker Fest, Bowser suddenly appears with a bunch of Goombas and Koopas and tries to touch the Sticker Comet. Three Toads try to stop him by doing what?

Answer: Grabbing onto his tail from behind

However, the Toads are not strong enough and Bowser leaps toward the Sticker Comet and touches it, causing five of the Royal Stickers to scatter, and the last one to land on Bowser's head. The Royal Stickers contain immense power and just one causes power to go berserk.

When Mario jumps on him, Mario is knocked unconscious. Tip: Don't try to grab onto Bowser's tail to stop him unless you're Mario!
3. When you awaken from after the Sticker Fest, how many times must Mario jump until he becomes completely unfolded?

Answer: Three

A shouting voice causes Mario to wake up and discover Mario are completely folded up. After pressing A three times, Mario will unfold, and the screen will introduce Mario with a little "cutscene". When Mario looks around, he notices the Sticker Fest is completely ravaged after Bowser appeared and touched the Sticker Comet.
4. Mario hears the voice of a sticker named Kersti, who looks like a crown, on a sign with what portrayed on it?

Answer: Princess Peach

For first-time players, it might be difficult to notice that Kersti is the one who is talking. If Mario strays too far from the sign, she will say, "No, this way. Over here." If Mario gets to the sign before she has to say that, she will say, "Wow, you came right over here, huh? Good instincts. I like it." However, if she has to tell Mario to come back at least once, she will say, "Hey, you made it... finally. You sure took your sweet time, huh? But whatever.

It's fine." She will then ask Mario to peel her off by holding the A button because, well, she's a sticker and she's stuck to the sign. Once you peel her off, the sign will fall over and she will fly into the sky.
5. Kersti accuses you of touching the Sticker Comet, destroying the Sticker Fest, and scattering the Royal Stickers. However, Mario tells her it was Bowser who touched the Sticker Comet. What happens immediately next?

Answer: Kersti yells at Mario for blaming Bowser

She will say Mario is cowardly and unpaper-like by pinning the blame on Bowser, but softens up when he tells her he will help retrieve the Royal Stickers. She will introduce herself, fly up into the air, and activate the short "cutscene" introducing herself.

She says she came from the Sticker Comet, and that the Royal Stickers grant the wishes wished on the Sticker Comet. It is her duty to find them all so she can return to the Sticker Star.
6. On what side of the Sticker Fest area is the Toad that gives Mario the Hammer when he peels him off the wall?

Answer: North

To be precise, the Toad is actually stuck to the front edge of the stage. When the Bowser Tape sticking him to the stage is peeled off, he will tell Mario Bowser pasted them all over the area, and gives him the Hammer to help save the other Toads.
7. The Toad behind the sign to the right of the Toad who gave Mario the Hammer will complain about being stuck in a forgotten corner and say, "And what number did I draw in the rescued-Toad lottery?" Then he will say what number Toad he was rescued (for example, if Mario rescued him third, the number would be 3). Then he will say, "Story of my life. Talk about being flat-out unimportant..." But what will he say if he is the first Toad rescued by Mario?

Answer: He can't-- Mario needs the Hammer!

Mario has to knock down the sign with a picture of the Sticker Fest on it with the Hammer before he can reach the tape that is holding the Toad down! No matter what number he is rescued at, his quote will never change. He will then run away to the center of Decalburg.
8. When Mario exits the Sticker Fest area and enters the closest house, there is a cabinet full of papers. If he opens it, how many Toads fall out?

Answer: Ten

One of the Toads says that Bowser neatly stacked them with the other papers, which seem to be musical scores. He says Bowser was pretty meticulous for such a big guy. They all then run off to the plaza to help "un-burrito" the place.
9. In the next house to the right, there is a Toad crumpled up in the trash can. If you hammer the trash can, he will fall out and run to the plaza. Above the bed, there is a sticker attached to a flower design on the wall. What sticker is this?

Answer: Jump Sticker

When Mario frees the Toad from the trash can, he says he was crumpled up and thrown into the trash without a second thought, and is going to take a shower and forget about it. If you peel the sticker, you will get it. If you this is somehow your first sticker, Kersti will give you a two-page album to keep your stickers in. You will get more album pages over time.

This house is later locked.
10. In the last house on the right, there is a Toad under the doormat which you must flip over with your hammer to peel off. Inside the house, there is a picture of a Toad, but if Mario checks it, it is revealed there are actually Toads hiding as pictures! How many Toads are hiding together as one picture?

Answer: Five

The Toad at the front comments Mario on how easily he spotted them, and after realizing Bowser is gone, they all jump out of hiding. The first four say,"Yay!" as they throw their wooden frames to the side, and the last Toad does a twirl and says, "Bye!".
11. To the right of the last house is a small scrap of paper moving on a cardboard plank resting upon four cardboard legs. If Mario jumps and hits the plank from below, a voice will tell him to continue doing that. After hitting the plank from below ten times, the paper will unfold into a Toad. He then says that Mario may have been folded eight times, but the Toad was folded how many times?

Answer: 256

The Toad tells Mario he's not much of a math guy, but it seems that he had it rough, getting folded 32 more times than Mario. He then runs off to join the others in the plaza and the piece of cardboard is left empty.
12. Mario must find all the Toads in Decalburg in order to have enough power to "de-burrito" the plaza. How many Toads are there? (Do not count the green Toad.)

Answer: 27

If Mario goes to the plaza without having rescued all the Toads, the ones he did rescue will give him hints on where to look. If Mario hasn't visited the plaza yet and is just saving the Toads, Kersti tells him to stop and to just make out of Decalburg.

But you need to rescue all the Toads to exit the town! Once Mario has rescued all 27, when he visits the plaza again, the green Toad will stand on the roll of paper with the plaza on it while the other Toads unroll it, causing the green Toad to fall under the fountain of the plaza. Occasionally Mario may hear rumors about someone in the fountain, and if you peel away the fountain after learning how to paperize, the green Toad will jump out and show you his sticker museum in his house.
13. Another level contains a doorway where Mario can paperize a Secret Door sticker into, allowing access to another room. However, this doorway leads back to Decalburg. What level am I talking about?

Answer: 4-3 The Enigmansion

Mario will be led into an area where he can hit down a board with his Hammer, although only from that side, to create a passage to the Thing Shop in Decalburg. In the Thing Shop, Mario can turn Things into uber-rare and powerful stickers. Additionally, Mario can also buy Things that he has gotten before and does not currently own.

This door is most likely to prepare for a battle with Bowser Jr., which will happen if 4-1, Snow Rise, is completed and Mario owns the previous three Royal Stickers, which will occur when Mario gets back onto the boat.
14. If Mario manages to complete the Sticker Museum that the green Toad owns, what title will he dub Mario and Kersti?

Answer: Curator

He will call Mario "Honorary Curator" and will call Kersti "Vice Curator". If Mario sticks all 64 Thing stickers into the museum, a new room will open up, and is basically a Sound Test feature-- letting Mario listen to most of the music the game. If he brings in all 96 regular stickers, a new room will open up that will let Mario observe how most of the enemies attack at the cost of one coin. Surely he can afford that?
15. After defeating Bowser, a message will appear saying a new Toad has appeared in the Sticker Fest area. When you visit this Toad, he/she (it doesn't mention) will let you view the ending parade again without having to defeat Bowser again. What color is this Toad's spots?

Answer: Pink

If Mario has found and peeled Luigi out in all five locations, he will lead the ending parade while the credits play. The parade will show many off the different levels and enemies, all of the bosses, and all of the Super Flag Achievements Mario has earned.

This is an easy way to see the difference in the parade if Mario did not achieve all Super Flag Achievements or did not found Luigi in all five locations the first time. And also a perfect ending to the game, in my opinion!
