It is here that Barret married Myrna, who fell ill to an unknown illness. Due to this, Barret would agree to Shinra building a mako reactor just north of Corel.

2. Which of Cloud's weapons can be bought from the weapon shop?

Answer: Force Stealer

The Force Stealer can also be win at the Junon parade if the player manages to get 100 or more points.

3. Which key item do you miss out on if you fail to stop the train heading for North Corel?

Answer: Huge Materia

Successfully stopping the train also nets the player an Ultima Materia for free, however it will cost 50,000 gil if the player is unsuccessful.

4. Which of Barret's limit breaks can be found at North Corel?

Answer: Catastrophe

Catastrophe can only be obtained after the train quest, and does a total of ten hits when used.

5. Where does the ropeway take you?

Answer: Gold Saucer

The ropeway is the only way to access the Gold Saucer (not including the one time you get there from Corel Prison during the game's natural progression). It also costs nothing to use.

6. The biological father to Marlene was from North Corel, but what is his name?

Answer: Dyne

Dyne is (or rather was) Barret's childhood friend, but went insane after losing his family, North Corel, and his arm to Shinra.

7. Which Materia can be purchased from the general store?

Answer: Transform

Transform costs 5000 gil and allows the player to cast Mini or Toad.

Answer: Mt. Corel

Mt. Corel is home to a mako reactor, responsible for the downfall of North Corel.

Speaking to the woman sadly reveals she lost her past husband, and gives the player a certain limit break which was her last memory of him.

Whilst there are zero enemies, there's a chance Ultimate Weapon will float around the world map close to North Corel at a certain point in the game.
