Throughout the subconscious mind of Cloud there is one constant - that he must reach the man known as Sephiroth and stop him from reaching the life-stream and destroying the entire planet. Cloud's memory is hazy, and he can remember very little about his days with SOLDIER, but one thing is clear. Sephiroth must be stopped at all cost.

2. What is the name of the organization that Cloud reluctantly decides to join?

Answer: AVALANCHE

Despite sounding like a hockey team, AVALANCHE is a small rebel group dedicated to bringing about the destruction of the evil corporation known as Shinra, Inc.

3. Which character has a gun-arm (and probably some control issues)?

Answer: Barret Wallace

Because he lost his wife in an accident with Shinra, Inc., Barret founded AVALANCHE, and dedicated his life to vengeance.

4. What element is necessary to create materia?

Answer: Mako

Mako Energy is tapped from the planet by use of giant Mako Reactors. Shinra, Inc. is the sole corporation responsible for bleeding the planet of this precious resource.

These are some of the Limit Breaks for Red XII; a large and powerful beast who is incredibly smart and unexpectedly kind. That "certain enemy" is called ULTIMATE WEAPON. I couldn't bring myself to give you that one...

We never really learn what Jenova is exactly. One can only speculate about the details, so there are a number of differing theories about what she really is. It is explained however, that Jenova cells are pumped into Sephiroth's body by way of some kind of cloning process involving the lifestream of the planet and Jenova herself.

10. This one might be tough for some of you... Ifalna (Aeris' Mother) is the last of the true ______?

Answer: Cetra

2000 years before, when the ancient people known as the Cetra were attempting to heal the planet, Jenova appeared before them and attacked them, giving them a virus which caused them to go mad and transform into monsters, but some survived and were able to imprison Jenova inside the Planet.

In the present day, Shinra scientists found Jenova's body and thought it was a true Cetra, and freed her from the planetary confinement which the Cetra had sealed her in, causing all kinds of chaos.
