John Barrymore is indeed the grandfather of Drew. He and his third wife, actress Dolores Costello, had two children, the second of which was Drew's father John Drew Barrymore. Drew's mother was John Drew Barrymore's third wife, Ildiko Jaid Mako. Drew's father and grandfather battled the same demons, addiction to alcohol and an inability to form lasting relationships, and both died before their time.

Some fear that Drew inherited the same weaknesses that her father and grandfather had, along with their undeniable acting talent.

Answer: Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine

Oscar winning actresses and sisters, Olivia de Havilland (who most famously played Melanie Wilkes in "Gone with the Wind", 1939) and Joan Fontaine (who most famously played the scared young wife in Hitchcock's "Rebecca", 1940) are only a year apart in age, but have never been close. Throughout their lives they competed with each other, first for the affection of their mother, and later for professional recognition and roles as actresses. In 2010, Olivia received France's highest award, the Légion d'honneur, which was bestowed on her by the President of France. As proof that their feud was still going strong, Joan Fontaine was not present, preferring to stay in California and declining to comment.

All of the other siblings listed enjoy far less acrimonious and normally friendly relations.

Answer: Christina Crawford

Christina Crawford was the adopted daughter of Joan Crawford. She was an actress in her own right, but she never gained the fame and recognition of her mother. Though not everyone believes what Christina has written in her book, there was undoubtedly some problem between the famous mother and daughter because Christina and her brother were explicitly excluded from inheriting when their mother died.

The other actresses listed did have famous mothers, but none had a terrible relationship with their mothers or wrote a scathing biography about them. Liza Minnelli and Lorna Luft are both the children of Judy Garland, and Mia Farrow is the daughter of Maureen O'Sullivan (who played Jane in the 1930's and 1940's "Tarzan" movies).

Tippi Hedren was discovered by Hitchcock, and she made her two most famous films under his direction. Their working relationship soured, however, and Tippi did no more work for Hitchcock. She was under exclusive contract to the director, however, who refused to allow her to take other jobs for the two years following her work in "Marnie" (1964). By the time she was free, Tippi claims that her career had stalled and she never had the chance to reach her true potential.

The other actresses listed were all stars in Hitchcock films. Originally, Hitchcock hoped to make Tippi Hedren into the next Grace Kelly. Tippi later stated that her own preference was to be the first Tippi Hedren.

Carrie Fisher is the oldest child of Eddie Fisher and his first wife, Debbie Reynolds. When Fisher was very young, her parents divorced because of Fisher's affair with (and subsequent marriage to) Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor and Fisher had no children, and Fisher later married singer-actress Connie Stevens, with whom he had Joely and Tricia, Carrie's half-sisters. Todd Fisher is Carrie's brother, and the second child of Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.
