Humphrey Bogart was born in 1899 and died in 1957. He's the star of films such as the 1938 "Angels with Dirty Faces", the 1941 "Maltese Falcon" and the 1951 "African Queen" for which he won an Academy Award. More than anything else perhaps, he's known for his role as Rick Blaine in the 1942 great old classic, "Casablanca".

He acted in over 100 films during his lifetime. Married five times, his first marriage to actress Janet Leigh in 1951 produced actresses Jamie Lee Curtis and Kelly Curtis.
7. But Tea Grey Bell

Betty Grable (1916-1973) was at the height of her success during the thirties and forties and was number one pin-up girl for soldiers serving overseas during the second world war. Her famous legs were insured with Lloyds of London for over $1,000,000.

Her acting saw her in the top ten office box draws for ten consecutive years during the forties, but by the fifties she was tired of making movies and switched to television and stage musicals instead, with her last performance in 1973, the year of her death, in the play "Born Yesterday" in Florida.

Born in 1963, Pitt, who started out as another pretty boy in film, has developed into a fine and skilled actor who has already received two Academy Award nominations and winning one out of four Gold Globe nominations. With his partner, actress Angelina Jolie, Pitt carries out a staggering amount of humanitarian work worldwide in addition to the demands of his work.

Courteney Cox, born in 1963, is an American actress, most well known for her role as the uptight Monica Geller in the long-running television comedy series, "Friends". When that series completed its astonishingly successful run of ten years, Cox moved on to star in the comedy series "Cougar Town" playing a recently divorced older woman dating a series of younger men in a succession of one comic disaster after another.
10. Ben Steel Her

The very funny Ben Stiller was born in 1965. He is an American actor, writer, producer and director. Most known perhaps for the 2002 hilarious film "Meet the Parents" and its two follow up movies, Stiller's method of playing the bumbling hero is killingly funny.

He has received several awards and honours during his career, which is still up and running. These include an Emmy award, several MTV awards and a Teen Choice Award.
