His nemesis, the Red Baron, flew a Fokker Triplane. The man generally credited with shooting down Manfred von Richthofen (The Red Baron) was Canadian Roy Brown (familiar last name) who flew a Sopwith Camel.

Answer: His paws.

He was apparently a poor marksman, because he always missed. The return fire showed up as bullet holes on his doghouse ... er Sopwith Camel.
