The language the last two lines are written in is Welsh; the actual lines go as follows: "Y maent yr mynyddoedd yn canu, ac y mae'r arglwyddes yn dod." I think I'll let you figure out how to pronounce that.

Eirias was made by the King of the Lost Land at the command of the Light. In the end of the book, Bran wields it against the Dark.

3. Which of these names is not Merriman's?

Answer: Ancient One

"Gumerry" or "Great Uncle Merry" are the names that Jane, Simon, and Barney call him. Will calls him Merriman. Merriman's last name is Lyon. None of the Old Ones are ever referred to as Ancient Ones.

"Power from the Greenwitch, lost beneath the sea" is a line from one of the two prophecies in the series.
