Jules Ferry was the French premier from 1883-1885, he was renowned for his anti-clerical legislation.

Answer: Arsenal

Arsenal were founded at Woolwich in 1886 and were originally called Woolwich Arsenal. Arsenal moved from Highbury in 2006.

He was found guilty and sent to Devil's Island. When evidence emerged that proved his innocence or at least called the original evidence into question there was an enormous cover up.

This was inspired by a strange story told about a priest during the Famine in Ireland. Father Gilligan, worn out with attending the sick, fell asleep and missed a sick call from a dying man. On awakening, the horrified priest rode to the sick man's house only to be greeted by 'Father, you come again'. Father Gilligan concluded that his bi-location was a great favour from God. Such ghostly events fascinated Yeats.

John Brown was an American abolitionist on the eve of the US civil war. With the help of some followers and his sons he attacked Harpers Ferry Arsenal in 1859. Robert E. Lee retook the Arsenal after a brave fight. Brown was injured but survived to be tried and later hung. He is seen as a martyr for civil rights.
