10. I have led to your final destination. It is time to sink or swim. What is the common bond of this quiz?

Answer: Titanic

The common bond is the 1912 sinking of the Titanic and the 1997 movie. The clues include (1) MOLLY BROWN who was a passenger on the Titanic and a character in the film. (2) ROSE, the heroine of the film played by Kate Winslet. (3) In the movie Titanic, Rose refers to herself as a 'POOR LITTLE RICH GIRL' which was also the name of the 1936 movie co-starring Gloria Stuart, who played Rose at age 101. (4) The Titanic did not have enough LIFEBOATS. (5) Although largely ignored in the movie, the CALIFORNIA was the boat within ten miles of the Titanic that failed to come to her rescue. (6) Jack DAWSON is the name of Leonard DiCaprio's character and the name that Rose adopts after she is rescued from the ocean. (7) JOHN JACOB ASTOR IV (grandson of the fur trader) was a first class passenger aboard the Titanic who went down with the ship.

In the movie, Astor was portrayed by Eric Braeden. (8) Spicer LOVEJOY is the character played by David Warner in the film "Titanic." An interesting side note to "Titanic" is that Warner also appeared in the 1979 movie "S.O.S. Titanic." In that movie, he survived the sinking of the ship.

He also appeared as the Evil Genius in the 1981 film "Time Bandits" which featured a scene aboard the doomed liner, although the scene did not involve Warner. (9) And, finally, the Titanic sank after colliding with an ICEBERG.
