Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit suggested the scale in 1724. The other letters stand for actual temperature scales: "C" is Celsius, where 0 degrees is the freezing point of water. "R" is Rankine, where 0 degrees is absolute zero. "K" is Kelvin, which is a thermodynamic (absolute) temperature scale, and 0 degrees is absolute zero.
7. What rating does the Motion Picture Association of America call a movie that is suitable for General Audiences?

Many parents think that since there isn't an age restriction, PG movies are approved for all audiences. This is not the case. The Motion Picture Association of America recommends Parental Guidance for these movies, because there can be some strong language and situations. The ratings go up from there based on the frequency and nature of the language and situations.

Hydrogen has the atomic number of 1. It is the lightest of the elements on the Periodic Table.
9. What is the Roman numeral equivalent of 1?

Answer: I

The use and knowledge of Roman numerals is fading. While they are still used on tombstones, movies, and outlines, they are no longer being taught in grade schools in most countries.
10. What is the Common Bond? These answers are the beginning of what major staple of the English language?

Answer: alphabet

In order to solve a Common Bond quiz's last question, you have to take the *correct* answers that came before the last question and figure out what they have in common.

In this case: A, B, c, D, E, F, G, H, and I are the first nine letters of the English alphabet. Of course, other quizzes are much more difficult!

Here's another hint. If you didn't know some of the answers, but you figure out the theme of the puzzle--go back and guess the answers you didn't know based on the theme. I hope this gives you an idea of how to play them!
