"The Walking Dead" Graphic Novel: Part Three Quiz

Rick and the others met Axel in the jail compound they found. He was a tall, strong former biker who was also a prisoner. He seemed gentle, but was in jail because he was convicted of armed robbery. Axel's favorite phrase was "You follow me?" He used it several times in the story.

Answer: A barbershop room

Maggie and Glenn wanted to spend some alone time together, so they decided to find a private area. They stumbled upon a room with two barbershop chairs and a large mirror. The two decided to give each other haircuts. Glenn completely shaved his head and Maggie cut her hair short.

Answer: Axel/Armed robbery, Thomas/Tax evasion, Andrew/Stealing, Dexter/Murder

The men were all prisoners when the zombies arrived. They were temporarily released from their cells by guards who needed their help escaping. Once the guards reached the entrance, they locked the criminals in. Lori, among others, was terrified at the prospect of living with felons.

Answer: Thomas

The group suspected Dexter because he admitted that he was in jail for murder. But in reality it was Thomas. He also attempted to murder Andrea, who was alone doing laundry. He approached her with a knife, but she was able to escape. Thomas did manage to give her a scar, however.

Answer: The original campsite

Rick told Lori that he needed to do something, and he mysteriously wouldn't tell her where he needed to do it. He traveled by motorcycle back to the original campsite where he met up with his family. Then, Rick dug Shane's grave up. When Shane sat up, a zombie, Rick was not surprised. He shot Shane in the head and left him lying there.

Answer: You kill, you die

When Rick discovered that Thomas had murdered Hershel's two little girls, he grew insane with anger. He beat the murderer until he was near death. Dale and he talked about what they should do with murderers in the new society. Rick decided on hanging him, and decreed that if "you kill, you die."

Answer: Maggie

The group nervously decided to hang Thomas for the crime of murder. Rick threw Thomas in a cell and prepared for the hanging. But before he had the chance to carry out his plan, Patricia let him out. Thomas, insane murderer that he was, tried to strangle her. Maggie, the victims' sister, arrived and shot him several times, saying afterward that she "felt a little better."

Answer: Chris and Julie

Chris was thrilled when Tyreese finally let him and Julie carry a gun, for protection. They had been planning on shooting each other for quite some time. After sharing a bed, the couple aimed at one another. But Chris pulled his trigger too soon and shot Julie before she had the chance to shoot him. Tyreese, Julie's father, arrived and attacked Chris.

Answer: Glenn

Dale hurt his hand when he was attempting to stab at zombies through the prison gates. He worried about a mass of the undead pushing the gates down. Rick broke all of the fingers on his right hand when he repeatedly hit Thomas. Andrea was cut badly by Thomas. She lost part of her earlobe and sustained a nasty cut along her jaw line.

Answer: Andrea

Chris was killed by Tyreese after shooting Julie to death. Julie came back as a zombie, forcing Chris to shoot her again. Rachel, and her sister Susie, were murdered by Thomas, who claimed to have been in jail merely because of tax evasion. Andrea was badly hurt but survived.
