1. In the beginning of the book, when the Shade come face-to-face with the elf holding the Dragon egg, what spell did he use?

Answer: Garjzla

The Shade said "Garjzla!", which means "light". Brisingr means fire, Jierda means break/hit, and Moi stenr would mean, "stone, change!"

2. What used to be the name of the city that is now the Uru'baen?

Answer: Ilirea

Ilirea was the place where Galbatorix stole the dragon hatchling.

3. In Yazuac, when Eragon and Brom were first attacked by two Urgals, which part of Brom's body was injured?

Answer: right arm

Brom was pierced in his right arm by the Urgals, but even
though he could not use his right arm when sparring with Eragon, his left arm was equally strong which Eragon was quick to find out.

4. The only people that Eragon had tried to scry were Arya and Roran.

Answer: False

Eragon had scryed Saphira and Brom while they were flying, when he found them gone after he had tried to throw a group of Urgals unconscious using magic.
