It seems an unusual Qualinesti name -- most of them are phonetic nightmares! I always wondered if it is maybe short for something else.
Kelida is the barmaid from "Stormblade" ("Heroes" volume II), Lauralanthalasa is, of course, the Golden General originally from "Chronicles" (shame on you if you picked that!), and Alhana is the Silvanesti Princess (also from "Chronicles").

2. True or false: Captain Esqualemar's ship is named the "Evening Star".

Answer: False

It is the "Evenstar".

3. In order to capture slaves for Urione, Queen Uriona summons this sea monster to capsize Krynnish ships.

Answer: Kraken

Another strange "Dragonlance" creature? Maybe not! Seafarers in times past told stories of a giant, tentacled creature that was sometimes mistaken for an island. The kraken (what scientists believe was a Giant Squid) had tentacles that could reach the top of a ship's mast and drag it beneath the waves. Not a lucky encounter for the "Evenstar"!

4. What did Gundabyr invent that the Dargonesti used to fight the chilkit?

Answer: Nothing

A trick question. Gundabyr didn't INVENT gnomefire -- he learned to make it from the gnomes of Mt. Nevermind on Sancrist Isle. Gnomefire is "a compound" that burns without fire. The pesky stuff is ignited with water... so it's risky to use unless you've got a hefty amount of dry sand about.

5. What are "shoal elves"?

Answer: Dimernesti

They live in the shallow sea waters off the coast of Ansalon. "Shallow" compared to their deep-sea brethren, the Dargonesti. Dimernesti are a seclusive race of people, suspicious of outsiders. However, they ally themselves with Queen Uriona to attack the land-dwelling Silvanesti.

6. True or false: Queen Uriona is actually a goddess.

Answer: False

She wishes! Unsatisfied with her place in court, and with the prospect of an unhappy marriage, Uriona leaves Watermere with her consorts and founds her own city, Urione. There she proclaims herself a queen and goddess.

7. True or false: All Dargonesti are capable of shape-shifting.

Answer: False

Only the "sea brothers" can shape-shift. When the chilkit invade Nissia Grotto, Naxos, the leader of the sea brothers, helps Princess Vixa reach the surface. However, she is too far away from land or Urione to swim back on her own, so Naxos performs the ritual and she becomes a sea brother. Er... sea sister. :)

8. Coryphene is the _____ of Urione. (His title.)

Answer: Protector

He is one of the only people who is allowed to look upon the face of the "Divine" Queen Uriona. He is completely in love with her, and commits suicide when he discovers she has abandoned him for Speaker of the Stars Elendar.

9. Who was the original owner of the magical sword Lord Agavenes loans (at the Speaker's behest) to Vixa?

Answer: Balif

The famous kender general, for whom Balifor is named.

10. Where do Vixa and Gundabyr go from Silvanost?

Answer: Thorbardin

They travel first to Thorbardin, where Gundabyr sadly informs his family of his twin brother, Garnath's, death in Urione. From there they travel to Qualinost, Vixa's home.
