Paddy and Billy were dating the same girl when they were younger. She was told that she had to choose between them. She chose Billy but Billy said that she belonged with Paddy not him. She then went to Paddy and eventually, they got married. About a year ago, she passed away and Billy couldn't bring himself to go to the funeral and deliver the eulogy because he had always loved her. Paddy, not knowing that she had originally chosen Billy, had not forgiven him.
