Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "I despise rapists. For me, you're somewhere between a cockroach and that white stuff that accumulates at the corner of your mouth when you're really thirsty. But, in your case, I'll make an exception." From what movie was this line taken?

Answer: Con Air

"Con Air" is about a group of convicts who take over an airplane. Alabama had just opened a supermax prison designed to hold the "worst of the worst" of the country's convicts. One of the prisoners managed to start a fire while the plane was in mid air, and this was the opportunity the cons needed to take the plane.

Cyrus Grissom, played by John Malkovich, said this rather sarcastically after meeting Johnny 23 while the prisoners were still being loaded into the plane. Johnny was a notorious rapist. This quote showed that even the most hardened criminals are disgusted by rapists, thus showing Grissom still had a bit of a heart.
2. What movie would you be watching if you heard this quote? "Now we're even. I have done you wrong, and you've stabbed me twice with forks."

Answer: Let's Go to Prison

"Let's Go to Prison" is a comedic account of one man, Nelson Biederman IV, and the man, John Lyshitski, who had vowed to make Nelson's life a living hell. John had many run ins with the law and each time he drew Nelson Biederman III. Nobody liked Nelson the IV. So, when he was mistaken for sticking up a pharmacy, his lawyers and even the judge, gave him a raw deal. That was when John got himself sent to prison so he can 'hang' with Nelson.

Never having been to prison before, Nelson didn't know how the life worked. He had ratted on the leader of the white supremest gang for a murder he witnessed. After learning that he was going to be killed, Nelson went up to the Nazi and apologized. What followed next was a fork in each thigh for Nelson. After this quote was said, the head Nazi took back his fork and proceeded to eat with it.
3. "You know what the best thing is? I'm not hooked...I could stop at any time." I am sure several movies include this line, but which of these movies does?

Answer: Spun

"Spun" is a dark comedy about the accounts of several tweakers over the span of a few days. It is set around lead character Ross, who met quite a few peculiar people. From inept cops, to a cook who seems to have lost most of his sense of reality, to a drug dealer who really has lost all sense of reality, Ross' life will surely not be the same after these days.

Said by Ross to Nikki, after being up a couple days straight, this quote sums up the mentality of a drug addict. Ross said it to her as they were driving around feeling the effects of their binge.
4. What movie is this line from? "I have no legs. I have no legs. I have no legs. I have no legs. May God bless you. I have no legs..."

Answer: Kids

"Kids" is a hard hitting tale about the lives of teenagers, sex, and drugs. Unsympathetically, these kids steal from stores, start fights where the whole herd joins in, and basically roll the dice of life.

In one of the few heart felt moments in "Kids", a man with no legs was pushing himself along the floor of the subway car on a skateboard saying this quote. Casper, one of the main characters and not a really nice guy, showed his heart and gave the man some money. Casper followed that up with a "God bless you" in return to the man.
5. "My brother is in a wheel chair because of a freak accident as a kid. One day we were playing touch football and he fell off the roof." In what comedy is this said?

Answer: Outside Providence

"Outside Providence" is a funny movie about a teen, Tim, who is forced to go to a prep school in Connecticut for his senior year. Although hilarious, this flick is not original. It has the usual teen movie components. The lead character chased the popular girl, there was the usual feud with the adult in charge, and plenty of hijinks.

Tim Dunphy said this when he was explaining why his brother was in a wheelchair. Tim loved his brother more than anything, and would never let him feel bad about himself because of the wheelchair.
6. "Whoa, I just heard you talking through my nose. Is it possible my nose has ear drums?... Nose drums!" Which of these films includes this quote?

Answer: Detroit Rock City

"Detroit Rock City" is about four teenage boys who play in a band together who go through hell and high water to go see Kiss. Many obstacles were in their way. Between one of their moms burning their concert tickets, the school security guard, and having to find a way to get to Detroit from Cleveland, they certainly had their work cut out for them.

When the drummer, Jam, gets sent to a catholic school by his mom, the rest of the gang had to go break him out, since they didn't want to see the concert without him. While outside the school, they pondered how to get him out. A pizza delivery man appeared, and they now had their plan. They would put magic mushrooms on the priest's pizza. Once the priest was feeling the effects of the mushrooms, the boys walked right into the office where the priest and Jam were talking. This quote was said by the priest as the boys were leaving.
7. In which movie would you hear this? "I may play ball next fall, but I will never sign that. Now me and my loser friends are gonna head out to buy Aerosmith tickets. Top priority of the summer."

Answer: Dazed and Confused

"Dazed and Confused" is a movie that features the new incoming freshmen and the seniors that want to haze them. Set in the '70s, the film is about these kids coming to grips with growing up and the shenanigans that go along with it.

Randall Floyd, quarterback of the football team, said this quote to the coach. Coach wanted the team to sign a contract to show their "commitment" to the team. Floyd, being a person of his own mind, wanted to play ball on his own terms.
8. "I'm a ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost." What movie is this from?

Answer: How High

"How High" follows two friends, Jamal and Silas, played by Redman and Method Man respectively, as they are accepted into Harvard University. The duo met with resistance from the dean due to their partying and lifestyle.

Ivory was a friend of Silas, played by Method Man. Ivory died, and Silas put his ashes into the soil of a marijuana plant he was growing. While waiting to take a test, Silas meets Jamal, played by Redman. Not knowing that they would be able to see their dead friend while smoking this particular marijuana, they began to smoke. Ivory then appeared in the back seat of their car. Silas freaked out, but Jamal was intrigued. Jamal exited the car and tried to pass through the car as a ghost would do. He said this quote as he was running around outside the car.
9. "Yeah... and we're grown-ups. We don't argue over seats. Now go sit over there. There are plenty of empty seats there." Can you tell me what movie has this line in it?

Answer: Slackers

"Slackers" is about three friends who help each other cheat their way through school. Their system was flawless until one of them got sloppy and fell in love.

This quote, as said by the head teaching assistant Philip, set the story for the entire movie. Ethan got up from his seat in class. He returned to see the lead character Dave was now in his seat. Ethan began to tell Dave that he was in his seat. Philip, who wants no talking, said this line to Ethan who became enraged at Dave. After the class, Ethan would find that Dave was cheating, and he would blackmail him and his friends if they didn't help him get the girl he liked.
10. In what movie would you hear this quote? "Ok. Can we order lunch first?"

Answer: Office Space

A true cult classic, "Office Space" tells the saga of one man and his distaste for his ho-hum life. Peter didn't know that when he would be hypnotized, his life would never be the same again. With a new found confidence, he and his two friends devise a scheme that would make them rich by stealing from the company they work for.

Joanna says this quote to Peter as they were having a lunch date. It was said in response to Peter telling her that he wanted to take her home and watch the television show "Kung Fu." This began their romance.
