Missy's father, Horace Vanglider, lets loose on her mother, Letitia, while at the Valco's home. He informs his wife that he's put up with her crap for 25 years, and he knows that it was Skippy who got her pregnant. Missy's mother is played by Stephanie Faracy- you might remember her as John Candy's wife in "The Great Outdoors". David Selby plays Horace.

He is better known as the cunning Richard Channing on "Falcon Crest." I used to love that show.

Answer: My grandfather

Bill Macy plays the part of Doo-Dah. Drew hires him to portray his grandfather because the Valco family was missing one. Doo-Dah's real name is Saul and he's a stage actor from the local theatre.

When Drew finally confesses to Alicia about his sad family life, he tells her that his dad walked out on him and his mom on Christmas Day, when he was only four years old.

Drew worked for Bar Code Media. This is seen quite a few times in the background during the scenes of Drew at work. The product we see him trying to market was for farm-fresh, fat-free, pre-spiked egg nog in a bottle.

Drew buys Missy tickets to Fiji so that they can escape for the holidays and spend Christmas alone. Missy gets upset that Drew never wants to be around family, and she breaks up with him and returns home to her parents. As a makeup gift, Drew has his assistant send Missy a Cartier bracelet.
