Billboard number five, Sept. 26, 1960. Charles was born in 1942, and at age 16 won a talent contest at the legendary Apollo Theater in New York. He won the contest four weeks in a row. He then cut his demo of "A Million To One". The song was a big hit, but Charles could never duplicate the feat.
2. In 1961, "I Like It Like That" made in onto the charts for the first time. This recording was by whom?

Billboard number two, July 31, 1961. Kenner was a New Orleans-born R & B singer whose greatest success was this song, which was later covered by The Dave Clark Five. He also produced "Land Of 1000 Dances", which was a hit for both Wilson Pickett, and Cannibal and the Headhunters.

She appeared in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" in 2002, and has had two novels published since 1999.

Billboard number 12, May 22, 1965. Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Glenn led a group called The Limeliters from 1959 through 1963. He also recorded "The House of The Rising Sun" seven years before The Animals hit with the song. Glenn's hobby is sailing, and he has sailed around the world five times.

They changed their name in 1966, and recorded their biggest hit in 1967. The constantly toured with some of the biggest American groups of the day, such as The Turtles, The Lovin' Spoonful, and The Buckinghams, among others.

Billboard number two, June 22, 1968. Born in Ireland, this was his only hit. He was, however, an accomplished actor, who was nominated twice for Academy Awards, and had appeared in movies as late as 2002. He played Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter films, before his untimely death due to Hodgkins Disease, later that year.
