 Robert Zimmerman, better known as Bob Dylan, wrote this tune, which was released on his album "Blood on the Tracks".
2. "My life was like a desert flower, burning in the sun."

Answer: Let it Rain

 Before starting a very successful solo career, Eric Clapton played with The Yardbirds, Derek and the Dominos, Blind Faith, and Cream. The song "Let it Rain" was the final track on his debut solo album, aptly titled "Eric Clapton".
