In the magazine, "American Songwriter" Sixpence guitarist Matt Slocum described this song "Radio" as follows: "While driving and listening to the radio, an old favorite song inspires a man to reminisce about an old relationship born from a road trip...Not quite the cinematic lyrical brilliance of Richard Thompson's '1952 Vincent Black Lightning,' but nonetheless an attempt at that type of imagery in a pop song lyric."

Hot Chelle Rae included rapper Bei Maejor on this one song fro the album "Whatever." Their "Radio" was credited as being written y all the band members: Ryan Follese, Nash Overstreet, Emanuel Kiriakou, Evan Kidd Bogart, Bryan Folk, Brandon Green, and Lindy Robbins.
In an interview Alesha Dixon explained the song this way: "'Radio' is about what a lot of people experience on a daily basis - wanting to escape from heartbreak, but hearing it all the time on the radio."

"Radio" is from Mr. Rucker's 2013 solo album "True Believers." He described the song this way: "It's a nice little Country song about the way we grew up. I didn't have much growing up but the car radio was everything. You're driving around listening to the songs, especially when you're getting to high school. Rival Sons is from Long Beach, California, forming their blues rock/hard rock band there in 2008. Their song "Radio" comes from the only EP they have released (June 20, 2010), called "Rival Sons". In 2012 They were also voted 'Best New Band' by listeners of Planet Rock Radio, a radio station in England.

Ms. Ashton Shepherd's song comes from her 2011 album "Where Country Grows" She wrote the majority of the music and lyrics on that album and its first single from it"Look It Up" cracked the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

"Born to Run" of course is from the legendary Bruce springsteen, "Born This Way" is a Lady Gaga album, while "Born Again" is an album title used by a lot of folks (Randy Newman, Black Sabbath, Warrant, Notorious B.I.G., Newsboys, RAIGN, Sarah Jaffe, Keith Ape).

Ms. Del Rey wrote most of the music and lyrics for her album as she walked around Manhattan in NYC. Regarding the song "Radio" she said in an interview that the keyboardist Justin Parker "just held down long keys. Sometimes what I ask my producers to do is just hold down long extended, melancholic notes and I end up just freestyling over them."

"Radio" was the first single released from that album, which wound up becoming the best-selling album of 2004 in England. Jeff Buckley's song "Radio" is from his 1994 album "Grace." Ed Sheeran's is from his 2011 album "No. 5 Collaborations Project." Matchbox Twenty's "Radio" is from their 2012 album "North."
Soulja Boy's "Radio" goes like this: "I go so hard they can't play this on the radio
Thirty pounds of dope and keys,
I'm talkin' dope on the radio"

while Wiz Khalifa's "Radio" goes like this:

That's right, once again, the two radio-named bands do not have songs called "Radio" while everyone else mentioned does. I forgot about that band Primitive Radio Gods, remember them" They had a 1996 hit "Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in My Hand." Alkaline Trio's "Radio" is from "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" (2000), Naughty by Nature's is from "Nineteen Naughty Nine: Nature's Fury" (1999), Jamiroquai's is from "High Times: Singles 1992-2006-Limited" (2006), Rancid's is from "Let's Go" (1994), Teenage Fanclub's is from "Thirteen" (1993), and The Corrs' song "Radio" is from "In Blue" (2000).

I worked with Beyonce several years ago on a Revlon commercial. Very humble and sweet. She didn't even mind posing with me for a photograph. There we are cheek to cheek practically! I have photographic proof. But so very talented also, in a way, she's even more talented than she even knows: After we finished shooting the producers asked her to record some of the dialogue in French, I guess for their foreign market.
