Led Zeppelin are a rock band formed in 1968 in London by Jimmy Page on guitar, Robert Plant on vocals, John Bonham on drums and John Paul Jones on bass.
They broke up in 1980 after drummer John Bonham's death but have had some reunions with John's son playing drums.

Answer: Poison

Poison are a glam metal band formed in Pennsylvania in 1983 by Bret Michaels on vocals, Matt Smith on guitar, Bobby Dall on bass and Rikki Rockett on drums.
Matt Smith quit in 1984 and was replaced by C.C. DeVille.
Bret Michaels was featured in the video game "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock", along with ex Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash.
Slash also auditioned to play with Poison after Matt got fired, but didn't get the part because of the way he looked.

Def Leppard are a hard rock band formed in Sheffield in 1977.
They are well known for the fact their drummer, Rick Allen, lost his arm in a car accident when he was 21 years old, but still manages to play.

Velvet Revolver are a hard rock band formed in California in 2002 by the former Guns N' Roses members Slash on guitar, Duff McKagan on bass and Matt Sorum on drums. Former Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland on vocals and keyboards, and former Wasted Youth member Dave Kushner on rhythm guitar complete the line up.

Mötley Crüe is a hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee.
They chose their name from when a member of Mick Mars's band, White Horse, called them a "Motley looking crew".

Guns N' Roses are a hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by Axl Rose on vocals, Slash on lead guitar, Izzy Stradlin' on rhythm guitar, Duff McKagan on bass guitar and Steven Adler on drums.
Their album "Chinese Democracy", which was released in 2008, took the longest in rock history to make. It took 14 years from start to finish.
Out of the members that played on "Chinese Democracy" then Axl Rose and Dizzy Reed are the only two members who played in the "Use Your Illusion" era.

Answer: Red Hot Chili Peppers

Red Hot Chili Peppers are a rock band formed in Los Angeles by Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Michael "Flea" Balzary (bass), Hillel Slovak (guitar) and Jack Irons (drums) in 1983.
They were originally called Tony Flow And The Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem.
Hillel Slovak died of a drug overdose in 1988 and was replaced by John Frusciante. Jack Irons quit the same year and was replaced by Chad Smith.

Answer: Nirvana

Nirvana are a grunge band formed in 1987 by Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.
They broke up in 1994 after the suicide of Cobain and Dave Grohl went on to play in other bands such as Foo Fighters, and made a guest appearance with Queens of the Stone Age in songs such as "No One Knows".
Dave Grohl also played the Devil in the video to Tenacious D's "Tribute".

Answer: Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath were formed in Birmingham in 1968 by Ozzy Osbourne on lead vocals, Tommy Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass and Bill Ward on drums, but they have had a lot of lineup changes over the years and have had 22 former members.
In 2006, Black Sabbath were inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of fame by Metallica.

Metallica is a heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by Lars Ulrich (drums) and James Hetfield (vocals). Kirk Hammett and Cliff Burton soon joined the band.
Cliff Burton was killed on September 7th, 1986, when their tour bus skidded and he fell out of the window and the bus fell on him. Burton was replaced by Jason Newsted, who was eventually replaced by Rob Trujillo.
