Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Hoe Say Uh

Answer: Hosea

According to the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, Hosea, a minor prophet, wrote his book around 745 BCE. According to that translation, it covered a span of about 60 years, beginning in 804 BCE, and continuing until 745 BCE.
2. Eye Say Uh

Answer: Isaiah

According to the NWT, Isaiah wrote his book in 732 BCE, and it covers the time roughly between 778 BCE and 732 BCE. Isaiah, in the NWT, is between the Song of Solomon and Jeremiah.
3. Call Awe Shins

Answer: Colossians

Colossians was written by Paul during the first century, circa 60 CE, according to the New World Translation. The book was written in Rome, and was one of many letters written by Paul. This one, of course, was written to the congregation of Colossae. Colossians is between Philippians and 1 Thessalonians in the NWT.
4. Keens

Answer: Kings

Some believe that Jeremiah wrote 1 Kings in Jerusalem and Judah in 580 BCE. It covered roughly 130 years, from 1140 BCE until 911 BCE. He wrote 2 Kings at about the same time. It began where 1 Kings ended, and continued up to 580 BCE, the time of writing (or so some believe).

The Books of Kings can be found between 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles in the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.
5. Owe Bud Eye Uh

Answer: Obadiah

According to the NWT, Obadiah, one of the twelve Minor Prophets, wrote the book with his name around 607 BCE. It is a short book of only 21 verses in a single chapter. Obadiah can be found between Amos and Jonah in the New World Translation.
6. Den Yell

Answer: Daniel

Daniel was a prophet who was perhaps most well known as being the guy who was thrown into the lions' den. According to the NWT, he wrote the book in Babylon in 536 BCE, and it covers the time he was in Egypt. In the NWT, it is located between Ezekiel and Hosea.
7. Due Tore Awe Numb Me

Answer: Deuteronomy

It is believed by some that Deuteronomy was written by Moses while in the Plains of Moab. It was written in 1473 BCE, and covers only a two-month span of that year. It can be found in the New World Translation between Numbers and Joshua.
8. Easy Key Yell

Answer: Ezekiel

Ezekiel was written in Babylon by Ezekiel himself, according to the New World Translation. The book covered the period between 613 and 591 BCE, the year he completed the writing. Ezekiel is between Lamentations and Daniel in the NWT.
9. Sanka Saw Law Man NOTE: This particular answer is one of many names this book goes by. It is also sometimes called "Canticles".

Answer: Song of Solomon

The Song of Solomon is a book of poetry that, according to the NWT, was written by Solomon himself in 1120 BCE. The book can be shortened to simply Solomon, and is also sometimes referred to as Canticles, Song of Songs, Song of Songs of Solomon, or Canticle of Canticles. Solomon is between Ecclesiastes and Isaiah in the New World Translation.
10. Now for a unique twist. If you take the first letter of the previous nine answers, in order, you get three words. These three words make up a fracture for one last book of the Bible. Which one?

Answer: Exodus

The first letters of the first nine questions are HICKSODDES. If you put spaces to make three words, you get HICKS ODD ES. This is the final fracture; say it fast and it sounds like Exodus.

One belief is that Exodus was written by Moses while he was in the wilderness. The writing was completed in 1512 BCE, and covers a 145-year span between 1657 and 1512 BCE. Exodus can be found between Genesis and Leviticus in the NWT.
