Answer: Locust and Honey

John the Baptist was a prophet responsible for baptising Jesus. He was beheaded, ordered by King Herod, at the behest of his step-daughter Salome.

A description of John the Baptist can be found in Matthew 3:4:

"Now John wore clothing of camel's hair with a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey."

The book of Deuteronomy consists of sermons presented by Moses to the Israelites. The book consists of a recounting of the 40 year travel through the wilderness, a set of laws of worship are set down and the penalties for breaking said laws.
