Answer: Frank Robinson

Frank won his first MVP with the Reds in 1961. In 1966, he took almost every award possible with his new Oriole team, winning the MVP, Triple Crown, All-Star MVP, and World Series MVP. An easy hall inductee, they took Robinson along with his 586 home runs in 1982.

2. RELIEF OR SLING was this pitcher's options, and he decided on relief. He then won the Rolaids Relief award four times in the award's first six presentations. Who is he?

Answer: Rollie Fingers

Fingers made his own name while pitching for the Oakland Athletics for nine seasons. With the first Rolaids Relief award being given out in 1976, Rollie's first award came in his first season with the Padres in 1977. Two more with San Diego came in 1978 and 1980.

After the 1980 season, Fingers was traded to the Cardinals. Without ever throwing even a warm-up pitch, he was traded four days later to the Brewers. This is where Rollie's fourth award came to be with Milwaukee in 1981. He won the MVP and Cy Young award in 1981 also.

3. Nobody ever said YES WILLIAM to me when I was kid. I just wanted to play baseball. Amongst my accomplishements, I was the first player in history to win two All-Star game MVPs. I also hit over 500 home runs, won two season MVPs, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Who am I?

Answer: Willie Mays

The All-Star MVP award began in 1962, with Leon Wagner of the Angels and Maury Wills of the Dodgers winning it. These two awards for Mays in 1963 and 1968, were the only All-Star game awards that he won in over 20 appearances in the game. Willie was also a Rookie of the Year in 1951, and season MVP winner in 1954 and 1965. The hall took Willie in 1979.

4. He was never nicknamed SPY DRONE JOHN, but he did win the first World Series MVP award in 1955. Who was this National Leaguer?

Answer: Johnny Podres

The 1955 series pitted the Brooklyn Dodgers against the almighty Yankees. After winning five straight from 1949-1953, then missing the 1954 series, the Yankees were out to prove themselves again in 1955. The Dodgers won the series four games to three.

After the Yankees took the first two games, the Dodgers came back in games three and four. After Whitey Ford was used in game six, the Yankees came back with Tommy Byrne against Podres in game seven. Johnny shutout the Yankees, and received the inaugural series MVP award. Podres died January 13, 2008.

5. I may have come from a DRY HICK FARM, but in 1976, I was on top of the world. I won the Rookie of the Year award, and was runner-up to the Cy Young award. I threw a season record of 19-9 with the Tigers. Nicknamed 'The Bird', my wings fell off as I plummeted the rest of my career, which last only four more seasons. Who am I?

Answer: Mark Fidrych

Fidrych was only 21 years old when he took the ROY, and took a backseat to the great Jim Palmer of the Orioles for the Cy Young award. 1977 ended with Mark going only 6-4, then following that up with a 2-0 record in 1978. Fidrych retired from baseball in 1980 as an unemployed 25-year old.

6. In 2004, I won my seventh consecutive Gold Glove award with the Braves. In 2007, I might have said JUDAS RENOWN when I signed with the Dodgers as a free agent. Who am I?

Answer: Andruw Jones

Jones was in his ninth season, all with the Braves in 2004 with his seventh Gold Glove award. In 2005, Andruw reached the season 50-home run plateau with his 51 shots. The centerfielder signed with the Dodgers after the 2007 season.

7. With pitchers such as Denny McLain and Mickey Lolich on the mound, this catcher would never BAN HELLFIRE. He was the league's most outstanding catcher from 1965-1969. Who is he?

Answer: Bill Freehan

Freehan won five Gold Gloves and was an all-star 11 times. Bill caught behind the plate for Denny McLain and Mickey Lolich during their great seasons. Freehan went to only one World Series in 1968.

8. I was never called PHANTOM MIKE, but I did stop Greg Maddux. From 1990-2002, pitcher Greg Maddux won 13 consecutive Gold Gloves. I won the Gold Glove in 2003 which broke his streak. We both played for the Braves too. Which pitcher am I?

It was fellow teammate Mike Hampton who stopped Greg's streak on the Braves. Hampton went 13-9 in the season. In 2004, Maddux signed as a free agent with the Cubs, and won another glove from the mound.

Answer: Bobby Cox

Bobby Cox won his first in 1985 with the Blue Jays, then his second with the Braves in 1991. Cox would also take the Braves to five World Series in the 1990s, but would come away with only one win.

10. I would help JOHN LARSEN TOW his truck whenever it broke down in 1895. I was the first pitcher in history to win a season MVP Award in 1913. I later won another in 1924, and retired with three Triple Crowns to my credit also. Who am I?

Answer: Walter Johnson

The Washington Senators' Walter Johnson, who went 36-7 in 1913, won the third-issued American League MVP award. He would have been a shoe-in for the Cy, had the Cy Young award not waited until 1956 to be presented. Johnson placed ahead of Indians great Joe Jackson for the award in 1913. Johnson won the AL MVP in 1924 also, defeating White Sox great Eddie Collins.
