Answer: Carl Yastrzemski

No others listed played in 1963. The Yaz did this in that stellar year, his 3rd season of 23 seasons with the Red Sox. He batted .321, and went on to win 6 more Gold Gloves. He won the 1967 MVP for his taking of the Triple Crown. He retired in 1983 with 452 home runs.
2. What two Dodger pitchers in 1974, finished number 1 and 2 in the Cy Young voting?

Answer: Mike Marshall and Andy Messersmith

No others listed played in 1974, and the only other Dodgers listed were Koufax and Drysdale, who both retired in the 1960s. Messersmith was the runner-up with his 20-6 record, while Marshall took the gold with his 15-12 record, along with his 21 saves in 1974.
3. Wade Boggs played 11 of his 18 seasons with what team?

He was also runner-up MVP 3 other times in his career. Mantle became a member of the 500 home run club in 1967, and retired with 536 in 1968.
