Boston entered the Midland League in 1933, which was a league mainly for reserve teams. They eventually finished 14th out of 17 teams with 25 points from 32 games.

Boston won the Conference title with on goal difference over second placed Dagenham & Redbridge, with both teams reaching 84 points.

Former Birmingham midfielder Cringham was player/manager for the club for one season in 1934-35.
