The others listed were not born yet. In 1923, Casey hit an inside the park home run, off Yankee pitcher Joe Bush and the New York Yankees. The Giants won this game one 5-4. The Yankees came back and took the Series 4 games to 2.
2. Which Red Sox and White Sox player had the nickname of 'Pudge'?

Answer: Carlton Fisk

The others never played for either Sox team. Fisk played for 24 seasons, 13 being with the White Sox. He was most famous for his historical 1975 Red Sox World Series home run. This primarily catcher, was the 1972 American League Rookie of the Year. Carlton also was in the top 10 MVP voting four times. He retired in 1993.
