Henderson was dubbed, "The most exciting high school player since Michael Jordan" in 1993, and was told by then San Antonio Spurs coach Jerry Tarkanian that he'd be selected with the team's first pick if he declared for the draft after his senoir year at Murrah High.

After injuries at LSU, he was selected by the Washington Bullets in the second round. He apparently walked out of practice and out on his career in training camp.
