Chuck Connors played "The Rifleman" on TV (1958-1963). Prior to this and other acting roles, he played for the Boston Celtics (1946-47), and the Dodgers (1949), and the Cubs (1951). He stood 6 ft. 6 in (198cm).
Before "The Rifleman" he played minor roles in many TV shows. He also spoke Yiddish from his early days in Brooklyn.
