Pearson won the Carolina 500 at Rockingham on March 5 for the 100th of his amazing career.
2. Which of the following years did Bobby Allison not win a Winston Cup event?

Answer: 1976

Allison drove the #2 Roger Penske Mercury in 1976. In July, he was injured in a non NASCAR event in Elko, Minnesota, and drove the rest of the year trying to heal the injuries. He quit the Penkse team after the season.
3. Ken Schrader competed in the 2004 Nextel All-Star Challenge.

Answer: True

Schrader was able to compete in the event by having the most fan votes of drivers who finished on the lead lap in the Nextel Open. Kerry Earnhardt actually earned the most votes of drivers trying to compete in the All-Star race, but was involved in a wreck and did not finish on the lead lap.
4. Which of the following drivers did not win a Cup race in their rookie season?

Answer: Jeff Gordon

Gordon finished 14th in points in his rookie year but did not visit victory lane. His first career Cup win came in the 1994 Coca-Cola 600 in May.
