Despite having 504 career home runs and 3,255 career hits, Eddie Murray has never won an MVP. Joe Gordon won the MVP in 1942 with the Yankees. He beat out Triple Crown winner Ted Williams. Don Baylor won it in 1979 with the Angels. Yogi Berra won the award in 1951, 1954, and 1955.
2. Three of the following four have won the Triple Crown. Who is the odd man out?

Answer: Mel Ott

Mel Ott was a 12-time all-star and had 512 career home runs along with a .304 career average. Ty Cobb won the triple crown in 1909 with only 9 home runs and 107 RBIs. "Double X" Jimmie Foxx and Chuck Klein both won the Triple Crown in 1933. They did it in the same city, Philadelphia.
