1. Which AFL team's song contains the line: 'There's history here in the making'?

Answer: Port Adelaide Power

Port Adelaide Power joined the AFL in 1997. The club was founded in 1870 and were quite successful in the SANFL (South Australian National Football League), winning 36 flags. They won the AFL Premiership in 2004 when they belted the Brisbane Lions.

The team's mascot is Tommy 'Thunda' Power, and their colours are silver, teal, black and white.

Answer: Richmond Tigers

The Richmond Football Club was founded in 1885.

They made their first Grand Final appearance in 1919, losing to Collingwood. However, they made up for this loss by beating Collingwood in the 1920 Grand Final, securing their first Premiership.

The team's mascot, Tiger 'Stripes' Dyer, is named after Richmond legend, Jack Dyer. Their team colours are yellow and black.

Founded in 1902, Hawthorn joined the AFL in 1925.

It wasn't until 1961 that Hawthorn won their first AFL Premiership, beating Footscray (Western Bulldogs) by 43 points. Ten years passed before Hawthorn were awarded their second AFL Premiership, beating St.Kilda by seven points.

Founded in 1859 and formerly known as the Pivotonians, Geelong are the second-oldest AFL club.

Following multiple losses in the early 1920's, a local cartoonist suggested the club needed a black cat to give them some good luck. During a match played a few weeks later, a black cat wandered onto the ground. Geelong won the game and from then on were referred to as the "Cats".

In 1924 Edward Greeves won the club's first Brownlow Medal and they received their first Premiership in 1925.

The team's mascot, Slammin' Sam Tomcat, is named after Geelong legend, Sam Newman. Their team colours are white and navy blue.
