Answer: Manchester United completed a double winning both the Premier League and F.A. Cup

The game eventually finished 2-0 in Manchester United's favour. The two sides met on three occasions during the 1994-95 season with Manchester United winning both league games, and of course the Charity Shield.
2. Who did Blackburn Rovers pay an English transfer record for in July 1994?

Answer: Chris Sutton

Chris Sutton had amazingly gone from a centre half to England's most expensive striker in just 2 years. Kenny Dalglish saw his goal scoring abilty the previous season when Sutton hit over 20 goals for Norwich City.
