1. In the 1960s, which NBA great won the scoring crown seven times?

Answer: Wilt Chamberlain

All these greats won a scoring title in the '60s, but it was Wilt who began his tear in the 1959-1960 season. He won three with the Warriors of Philadelphia, and continued when the team moved to San Francisco. He also won the crown with the Philadelphia 76ers. In the 61-62 season, Chamberlain was the first player to average 50 points per game in a season.
2. Who was the first PBA bowler to win three consecutive championships?

Answer: Earl Anthony

The others listed had a PBA Championship to their credit, but it was Anthony who won three from 1973-1975. Earl was also the second to reach this feat, by winning three consecutive again from 1981-1983. The left-handed Anthony had a lifetime dream to play professional baseball, but an ankle injury early in his baseball career squelched that.
3. The James E. Sullivan Memorial Award is given annually to whom?

Answer: Amateur athlete of the year in the AAU

The first James E. Sullivan Memorial Award was given in 1930 to Robert Tyre Jones Jr. who was an amateur golfer. Track and Field had dominated this award in the 20th century, and only one tennis player received this award, in the name of J. Donald Budge in 1937.
4. Major League baseball player Jim Kaat was famous for playing which position?

The left-hander Kaat, nicknamed 'Kitty', pitched his way to 25 seasons in the big leagues. From the Washington Senators in 1959 to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1983, Kaat won 16 Gold Gloves and was a 16 time All-Star.

The other horses were winners since 2000. Aristides won the first mile and a quarter race at Churchhill Downs for three-year olds in 1875.

The others set records for field events, but none were American. Johnson set a 200m record in 1996 in Atlanta, with a time of 0:19.32, and the 400m was set with a time of 0:43.18 in 1999. Sotomayor was a high jump record holder, Bubka in the pole vault, and Zelezny in the javelin throw.
7. Which golfer won the 2003 Masters?

Answer: Mike Weir

The others were all winners in the '80s. Mike Weir broke Tiger Woods' streak of two consecutive Masters in 2003, with his winning score of 281. The Masters was played at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. The first Masters title was given in 1934.
8. The five Delahanty brothers were all associated with which sport?

Answer: Major League Baseball

Ed Delahanty, the famous of the brothers, and the only one to make it to the Hall of Fame, was the oldest. Debuting in 1888, Ed led the league in many categories during his 16 seasons. His career and life were cut short in mid-season 1903 in a Niagara Falls accident. The other brothers were Frank, Jim, Joe, and Tom. They were all out of baseball by 1915.
9. Which boxer closed out 2003 with the World Heavyweight Championship belt?

Answer: Roy Jones Jr.

All Heavyweight Champions at some time in their career, the rest saw Roy Jones Jr. defeat John Ruiz in March 2003, for the combined WBA, WBC, and IBF Championship. Jones Jr. gave up 33lbs to the younger Ruiz in this 12 round decision.
10. The Hart Trophy is given annually in which sport?

Answer: NHL Hockey

The Hart Trophy is given to the most valuable player in the NHL. In 2003, Peter Fosberg of the Colorado Avalanche was given the award. The first Hart Trophy in 1924 was awarded to Frank Nighbor.
