Dermott was the catalyst for the win, after being wiped out at the opening bounce and with a split kidney and severe internal damage he refused to leave the field.

He marked over a pack a minute later and kicked a goal. The coach Allen Jeans sent the runner back out with just one word 'Inspirational'. Stephen Hocking - well that just plain stings.
