Answer: Shinnecock Hills

This is Shinnecock's 4th US Open, it held the second ever US Open in 1896. It is the first open held here since 1995 when Corey Pavin won.
2. Who won the 2004 US Open?

Answer: Retief Goosen

This was Retief's second major won. He won his first in 2001 at the US Open in an 18 hole playoff over Mark Brooks.
3. Who shot an 80 in the final round to fall out of contention for the title, after playing in the final group?

Answer: Ernie Els

Ernie was in the final group with fellow countryman Goosen before falling out of contention to shoot a 10 over par 80. He ended up in a tie for 9th at +7.

Only the winner Retief Goosen at -4 and Phil Mickleson at -2 were under par after 72 holes.
