She was murdered. As the scene closed, we saw that it was Angel that had killed her, but then he awakened from sleep and was safe in his own bed. Was he a sleep walking killer? I tried to find out the name of the actress in this scene, but had no luck. Her character's name is Jessica Halpern.

Kate: "It's the same guy. This makes 3. He's just getting started." Elisabeth Rohm played Kate Lockley in season one. She has also been seen on "Law and Order" as Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn. She even voiced that part in a video game version of the show.

Kate was talking to herself: "I shot him three times, I know I did, and then he got up." She saw Angel, and scared, she pulled her gun on him and said that line.

Angelus: "Family blood is always the sweetest." Jeremy Renner played Penn. He can also be seen in the 2002 movie "Dahmer", as serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, and the 2005 Charlize Theron film "North Country". Penn went on to kill the rest of his family as well.

We find out later that Angelus also killed his sister first, of all his family members. She was not his first victim, though, that was a caretaker.

10. Cordelia: "People really do change." What was Angel's response?

Answer: "Yes, they do."

Angel: "Sometimes they change back." Then Cordy assured Angel if he ever turned back into Angelus that she'd kill him dead. He responded with, "Thanks."
We did see Angelus again, fairly soon afterward...
