Answer: Melinda Page Hamilton

Hamilton, born in 1974, played Diana Harris for "Castle" in this second overall episode. This was the only appearance Hamilton made as Diana Harris in season one. She has also guest starred on the TV series, "NCIS", "Private Practice" and "The Mentalist".

Answer: Michael Graziadei

Graziadei, a native of Germany, was credited for his short stint as Brent Johnson on "Castle". He guest starred in just this one episode of the show's debut season. He has held down guest starring stints on the TV shows, "90210", "CSI: NY" and "NCIS". He's spent many years on the daytime soap "Young and the Restless" as well, playing the son of Phyllis Summers Newman.

Answer: Laundromat

In the opening scene, a dryer at a laundromat in New York City spun around with a dead body inside of it. As Richard Castle signed some waivers at the NYPD office, Beckett received a call about this issue. She and other members of the police department headed over to the Laundromat to investigate.

The person identified as the victim at the laundromat turned out to be Sara Manning, a nanny. One person's kids who Sara looked after was a woman by the name of Mrs. Peterson. Kate asked her some questions in one of the episode's early scenes to help aid her in investigating Sara's death.

Kate and Castle spoke about the case as Kate looked through some of the victim's articles. She was surprised to find that the victim had a Georgia driver's license. Kate mentioned she would contact the victim's parents to inform them about her death.

During the credits, Kate and Richard entered the headquarters of the New York Police Department where they noticed Kevin, Javier and Roy huddled around at a computer. Roy mentioned to both of them that Kevin and Javier nabbed a security tape from the crime scene. Kate and Richard went over to look at it as well.

After Richard got done for the day at NYPD, he arrived at home to a cooked meal in the kitchen. Alexis informed him that Martha had cooked them all some chicken marsala. Richard asked Alexis where Martha was so Alexis responded that she was in her room taking a "dramatic pause".

Martha exited her room to be with her family out in the kitchen so they could all eat together. During the conversation, Martha made mention as to the time when she guest starred on the hit TV series, "NYPD Blue". Alexis stated how she recalled her grandmother playing a homeless woman on her guest starring stint.

Martha mentioned her days as a working actress and commented on how not everyone could be like Richard and work at a laptop all day while claiming to be employed. Richard started to talk a little about his career as a detective novelist. He claimed to have gotten his first book's plot idea from watching the soap, "One Life to Live".

This paid homage to actor Nathan Fillion getting his big break in acting by starring on "One Life to Live" as Joey Buchanan in the 1990s.

Midway through the episode, Javier and Kevin spoke about the case with Richard and Kate, especially regarding the part about what the killer's motive would be to kill Sara Manning in a laundromat. Captain Roy Montgomery stepped out of his office to inquire with Javier regarding the status of locating the victim's cell phone records. Javier had them in his hands and handed them to Captain Montgomery.
