Later on in the episode Rose ends up telling Lucy, and Lucy everyone else, about Simon taking incompletes in order to pay for the ring. Ruthie and Annie already knew about Eric replacing the ring, but Eric didn't know that, and Rose and Simon never do.

But Annie is still upset about Matt and Sarah lying about getting married and then going through with the big wedding. Also, Ruthie thinks she knows that even if Rose has changed, Annie still doesn't want her marrying Simon...
