Throughout the episode, one of the Montecito workers dressed up as a character, made multiple lewd gestures towards guests as well as doing a lot of fondling. Mary and Mike pulled him aside and into Ed's office. As Mary had authority to fire the worker, she informed him he was no longer welcome there in any capacity.

One of Sam's clients spotlighted in the episode, had lots of fun playing the lottery but she preferred it if he took his game over to a card table. The client assured her that would be the case as soon as the clock struck a certain time, rendering his selected numbers a jackpot winner. As he conducted a countdown, a friend playfully smacked him and informed him he was the actual winner.

As the episode progressed into the second hour, action still took place out in a remote location someplace in the desert where Danny and Ed tried to get Delinda released. During negotiations with her abductors, things fell through and they drove off with Delinda. Both men vowed to get her back.

At this time, she was aware of the staff asking him to leave, but she informed him it would be possible for him to play one more round. Near the end of the episode, Mary went to entertain some guests at one of the clubs there and adjusted the volume. This led to an irritating sound, causing the people to freak out, so she promised to continue adjusting until she got it right. With a couple more attempts, she was able to get it to where the music played.
