The girls were having a gab fest over their ex-boyfriends' many flaws. Doyle did not like to improve another person's property, so no painting their apartment. He thought the treadmill was a bad idea when you could just walk outside. To the last remark, Rory replied "with all the murderers and rapists". Paris totally agreed.

Logan arrived first at the apartment, looking for Rory. Paris did not want to let him inside, but did open the door wide so he could see Rory. She went on to call him 'New Haven's favorite whore-hound' and 'two-bit spoiled waste of a trust-fund'. Logan did get into the apartment and Doyle arrived right afterward.

April called Luke to ask him to chaperon the event. Ana was supposed to do it herself, but she could not do it any longer. The call made Luke very happy, because normally he had to ask April to spend time with him. Lorelai told him he should go with April and her bus full of "Little Man Tates". "Little Man Tate" was a movie directed by Jodie Foster about a young genius. April Nardini is very smart.

Luke tried to sew his own dilapidated duffel back together. When Lorelai witnessed this, she offered to take him shopping for a new one. He said no thanks to that offer, and to her offer to shop alone for him. His bag was awful looking, like a worn out burlap sack! Later, Lorelai saw he did have a brand new bag.

It turned out to be from Anna. Anna sent it over without asking Luke, but it lead to Lorelai's hurt feelings. Why did Luke not allow her to buy him a new one? Why did Luke discuss the bag with Anna at all, since he seemed fine with it? When, oh when, is Luke going to share Lorelai with Anna and April?

According to Michel, pinks were for guests that had checked in. Then, green for ones who'd checked out. Lastly, he said he used watermelon ones to show guests who'd altered or canceled their reservations. Her seven stolen Post-Its had thrown off the entire balance, showing more guests had checked in than out, a physical impossibility.

Emily and Richard were supposed to be at an estate sale in New London, but ended up in Preston. Emily called Lorelai on speaker phone from their car, and was shouting out to Lor. She told her mother to quiet down, as she could hear fine. Then, Lorelai explained New London was near Stars Hollow and Preston was not. Emily and Richard's $4000 GPS system would only give instructions in German. Richard also believed he had to pull over to the roadside to get any help from it.

He did finally switch it to English, and they made plans to drop by Lorelai's house later that day. New London is about 15 miles from Preston, Connecticut.

There is also a New Preston, Connecticut. It's about 100 miles from New London.

Apparently, Lorelai hadn't seen the first two "FD" films. She couldn't get over the fact that Death was the evil force, and not some physical being like Freddy or Jason. She said that they shouldn't even call it "Final Destination 3" after the first two films, it should be called called "Now You're Really Really Really Dead".

Anna liked to stock one of a kind items in her boutique. So, Rory bought a 1960s style Pan-Am stewardess bag for Lorelai. When Lorelai found out that she had been there, she got very angry at Rory. Lorelai is really trying to stay out Luke's relationship with Anna and April, and waiting for it to be his idea to introduce them all.

While this goes against her nature, I believe Lorelai is doing all she can to preserve her relationship with Luke. In the past, Lorelai would do things to sabotage her relationships, but Luke is the most important man she's dated since Christopher.

Lorelai found Kirk, and his blue-tooth technology, cluttering up her front sitting room at the inn. He was a trainee, and making appointments for clients to meet him in the inn. He told Lorelai that Kirk referred to himself as Kirk, it was "Kirk's thing".

Another "thing" of Kirk's was being eye-candy for the older female clients, and he would perform scandalous liaisons if it was OK with Lulu. He was wearing a jacket from his company, but it was supposed to be at the dry-cleaners. Lastly, he revealed to Lorelai that his firm was helping Richard and Emily shop for a home in Stars Hollow! OMG, no way!

Mrs. Kim made Zack create a hit song first. She wanted to be sure he could support Lane doing the thing he loved. She helped him create his hit song, and then approved the engagement. As Zack was reenacting his proposal, Mrs. Kim handed over her grandmother's wedding ring. Zack had given Lane a temporary cheapo ring, and Mrs. Kim said they should hide it so it wouldn't scare their kids.
