Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At the hospital Scully, along with Mulder's doctor, came in to give him news about his condition. Was it true that Scully told Mulder he was in perfect health?

Answer: Yes

This brain disease Mulder had been dying of before his abduction had completely vanished. Nelson Mashita played Dr. Lim. He went on to guest star on "Alias", "Veronica Mars", "Grey's Anatomy", and "How to Get Away with Murder".
2. When Scully took Mulder home, he noticed something different about his apartment. What did Scully say it was, after which Mulder agreed?

Answer: It was clean

I believe the last time we saw Mulder's apartment, John Doggett had been searching it, and it was very untidy at the time. When they arrived there from the hospital, Mulder noticed the cleanliness as *the* "different" when Scully pointed it out. His floors were not carpeted, his tiny TV was still there, and the walls were not painted blue.
3. Absalom was doing prison work detail when he managed to escape custody.

Answer: True

He was with a crew of other inmates, doing what appeared to be not much of anything constructive. Absalom found a piece of wood with a nail sticking out of it, and used it on one of the guards. He didn't kill the man, but did manage to run away. An oncoming passenger train blocked access to Absalom, who crossed the tracks just in time to miss getting struck himself.

Judson Scott played Absalom. He was Lt. James in the TV series "V", also about an alien invasion.
4. Who did Kersh task with the job of telling Mulder he was not going to be reinstated into the X-Files?

Answer: Doggett

Doggett was none too pleased about that order. He couldn't see any reason why Mulder should not be working in the department he created. Of course, fans all know from watching the show, that the actual X-Files were created many years earlier, but never determinedly pursued as they were by Mulder. Kersh made it clear that it was not a request. So, what happened? Mulder went back to working X cases, of course.
5. A man named Howard Salt was killed on the lawn of the White House. What job Salt have when he died?

Answer: Census worker

He ran onto the White House lawn and pleaded to speak to the president. He was stopped by Secret Service, but managed to slip one of the men a small CD with three words written on it. That disc held information with proof of the already present alien invasion.
6. Mulder and Scully sneaked downstairs into an evidence room to look at Howard Salt's personal belongings. Though Scully warned him not to do it, Mulder took something out of the evidence room. Was it a key card?

Answer: No

He flipped over the laptop he was searching through and removed what was most likely a battery posing as a hard drive. They took it to the Lone Gunmen, who sadly reported they could not access the information inside without the password.

Gary Bristow played Howard Salt, who was once part of Absalom's group.
7. Who kidnapped Agent Doggett, and walked him into a government building?

Answer: Absalom

He taped a gun onto John's back, so he could keep a bullet pointed at his head. John cleared the front security, and he and Absalom entered the building. But, the guard could see the x-ray of the gun under John's shirt. So, after getting a ways inside, Absalom was shot in the head. Mulder later accused John of allowing Absalom to get killed to hide the truth.

Every time John Doggett would speak, all I could hear echoing inside my head was the liquid terminator from "T2", the T-1000, saying "Are you the legal parents of John Conner?" Some people stay one character inside our heads, no matter who else they play.
8. What was the three word password for Salt's information, given to Doggett by Knowle Rohrer (actor Adam Baldwin)?

Answer: Fight The Future

These were the same three words written on the CD Howard Salt gave to the Secret Service man before he died. After Doggett told Scully, and Scully told Mulder, Doggett began to suspect it was a setup. He felt like he'd been tricked into giving Mulder exactly what he needed, exactly when he needed it. All the while, a very pregnant Scully was trying to watch out for Mulder.
9. Other than the Lone Gunmen, who helped get Mulder out of the Census building before they were both killed by a security team?

Answer: Doggett

After Doggett realized it was a setup, he stopped Scully from going inside after Mulder, but went in himself. Mulder was totally skeptical of Doggett, and suspicious of his motives. But, John told him that if he was setting Mulder up, he wouldn't be trying to save him now.

He told Mulder that they'd both be killed if they didn't exit immediately. The Lone Gunmen led them out through the area above the ceiling.
10. After threatening to do so, did John Doggett report Knowle's actions to anyone who could discipline him?

Answer: No

Knowle told John that he was at "the tip of the iceberg". That it was not census information being protected, and that John needed him more than he knew. Knowle also had another secret, when he bent down to take a drink from a water fountain, a bulge could be seen in his neck. When he stood back up, we could see two distinctive bumps under his skin.

Adam Baldwin has played some very interesting characters over the years. Some of the shows he appeared on were "Angel", "Firefly", "Day Break", "Chuck", "Law and Order: SVU", "The Last Ship", and "Castle".
