Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who said, "A bitca?"

Answer: Xander

This was from the episode "When She Was Bad." Willow had just spelled out a word that she didn't think was appropriate to say, and Xander didn't know what she had spelled out. This is him sounding out the word.
2. Who said, "Sore thumbs. Do they stick out? I mean, have you ever seen a thumb and gone, 'Wow, that baby is sore'?"

Answer: Willow

This is from the episode "Lie To Me." Willow, Xander, and Angel were at the Sunset Club where wannabe vampires hung out. So Xander said, "No, we don't stick out like sore thumbs." The question was Willow's response.
3. Who said, "We attack the Mayor with humus."

Answer: Oz

This is from the episode "Graduation Day Part 2." Buffy had just given her plan to attack the Mayor (we don't get to hear it) and the others were saying it was crazy. Oz was keeping things in perspective by saying this.
4. Who said, "And boys? Let's watch the swearing."

Answer: Mayor Wilkins

This is also from the episode "Graduation Day Part 2." Buffy and the Mayor had just finished telling their crew the plans of their attacks. The Mayor was a very father-like villain, so he frowned upon swearing. He also exhibits this in the 7th season episode "Touched."
5. Who said, "Ooh, boyfriend! My on-campus boyfriend."

Answer: Willow

This was at the beginning of the episode "The Freshman". When Willow and Buffy were getting acquainted with college, Willow sees Oz, and was so happy she said this.
6. Who said, "I believe decapitation is a problem as well."

Answer: Adam

This is from the episode "Who Are You." Adam was trying to recruit some vampires and learn about them. This was part of a speech he was saying to them about what they were afraid of.
7. Who said, "Sometimes I think of two women doing a spell...and then I do a spell by myself."

Answer: Xander

This was from the episode "Restless" in the 4th season during Willow's portion of their joint dream. Xander is talking about Willow and Tara doing spells together, but also about the fact that they are lovers.
8. Who said, "Who're you gonna call? God, that phrase is never going to be usable again, is it?"

Answer: Spike

This is from the episode "The Killer In Me." Buffy said that Spike's chip going "wonky" isn't a book thing it's a phone thing. This was Spike's response.
9. Who said, "You actually sleep with this guy?"

Answer: Angel

This is from the episode "The Yoko Factor" during a fight between Angel and Riley. Angel says this to Buffy because he doesn't like Riley, which Angel made quite clear when he kicked Riley's butt.
10. Who said, "So have I. I reformed way before you did."

Answer: Spike

This is from the episode "Dirty Girls" when Spike and Faith have their small fight scene. Faith had just finished telling Spike that she had reformed and this is what he said back to her. Later they have a provocative bonding scene about the fact that they used to be dangerous, which makes Buffy seem jealous.
11. Who said, "Run is a 4 letter word."

Answer: Andrew

This is from the episode "Empty Places" where Spike and Andrew are interrogating a monk. Andrew was trying to play the "bad cop" type character and was having some (obvious) trouble.
12. Who said, "I think horrible is still coming, right now it's worse."

Answer: Buffy

This is from the episode "The Prom" when Buffy tells Willow about Angel breaking up with her. She doesn't believe she can make it through the break up. She then begins sobbing in Willow's lap.
13. Who said, "I think you'd sweat cute blood."

Answer: Oz

This is from the episode "Becoming Part 1" when Oz, Willow, Xander, Cordelia, and Buffy are sitting in the cafeteria. Willow says that she will help Buffy pass all of her classes even if she has to sweat blood. Xander says he would like to be elsewhere and this is Oz's comment.
14. Who said, "Bye, rant girl."

Answer: Buffy

This is from the seventh season episode "Him", when Dawn was ranting about love and how she doesn't understand it but Buffy had to get back to work. Very shortly after, Dawn 'falls in love' with R.J.
15. Who said, "It's code. I think it breaks down to 'choo choo'."

Answer: Willow

This is from the episode "Fool For Love." Riley makes a signal when some of the gang are hunting the vampire that hurt Buffy. They don't understand what the signal meant, but this is Willow's idea.
16. Who said, "You know I'll be there. I'll slip in... have myself a real good day."

Answer: Spike

This is also from the episode "Fool For Love" when Spike is giving Buffy a lesson on why slayers die when they do. He knows because he's killed 2. He says he'll have himself a real good day when someone finally kills Buffy.
17. Who said, "And you teach psychology?"

Answer: Wesley

This was said in the episode "Consequences" when Wesley and Cordelia first meet. There is obvious sexual tension. When Cordelia tells him that she takes psychology, he immediately removes his hand from hers (they shook hands as a greeting).
18. Who said, "Hey nice sword. Bet it hurts."

Answer: Glory

Glory says this in the episode "Blood Ties", when she is about to try and kill Orlando with his own sword (which is what she is talking about).
19. Who said, "Check the lumpies, and the teeth."

Answer: Buffy

This is from the episode "Tabula Rasa" when Buffy/Joan realizes Spike is a vampire and is telling him. Spike then believes that he is a vampire with a soul, but he isn't yet.
20. Who said, "Hymen, the God of Matrimony. His salutations upon you. May the love we celebrate today avoid an almost inevitable decline."

Answer: D'Hoffryn

This was said in the episode "Hell's Bells" as a well wish about Anya and Xander's marriage.
21. Who said, "Thanks for covering. Guy's a serious rodent."

Answer: Sheila

"School Hard" was the only episode Sheila was ever in because she became a vampire and Buffy killed her. She was supposed to help Buffy plan parent-teacher night and she hadn't shown up for painting the banner. Principal Snyder said he could smell an expulsion coming on and Buffy covered.
22. Who said, "It's kind of an imitation of my dad."

Answer: Morgan

Morgan was explaining his inspiration for the voice of his dummy. We later find out he's not the one talking and the dummy is alive. Well, actually possessed by a human named Sid because of a curse. This was said in the episode "The Puppet Show." The other people are random guest characters on 'Buffy.'
23. Who said, "Then why don't you get out of that chair and walk out of here?"

Answer: Forrest

Forrest was dead but his body, and was being used to help Adam in the episode "Primeval." Riley had threatened him and this was his menacing remark. Professor Walsh's body was being used as well.
24. Who said, "Tomorrow the stuff of everyday life resumes."

Answer: Angel

Angel tells this to Buffy when they're talking about her mom's death in the episode "Forever." Buffy told him she didn't know what was going to happen tomorrow, and that scared her. This was Angel's comfort for Buffy.
25. Who said, "Be brave. Live. For me."

Answer: Buffy

These are the last words of the 5th season in the episode "The Gift." Buffy is saying them to Dawn because she needs her to go on and take care of her friends, and live a long healthy life. Little did she know that she would be brought back again by her friends.
