It was this paranoia that lead to him sending Dodoria and his elite team to ambush Bardock's crew on Planet Meat (a mission that Frieza ordered Bardock and his crew to take, knowing what would happen.)

After Tora dies, Bardock removes it (now covered in blood) and ties it onto his head. It is also interesting to note that the only other time Tora isn't wearing it is when he is in his Great Ape form.

After defeating Dodoria's men, Bardock has a brief standoff with Dodoria himself. After Bardock is blasted, Dodoria is ordered back to Frieza's ship, leaving Planet Meat believing his mission is accomplished.

Unfortunately, the other Saiyans don't believe Bardock because, since he is a lower-class soldier, they assume he was defeated in battle and trying to cover his "shame". They even go so far as to mock him, and laugh at him, causing Bardock to lose his patience with them and run out.

This vision takes place on Namek, because this is where Bardock envisions his son defeating Frieza. Earth is where Bardock foresees his son growing up. He never envisions his son on Kanassa, and only a few times on Planet Vegeta, but only flashes and only as a baby.
