Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How often did the Midas Heart pass by the Gotham skies?

Answer: Every 75 years

The Midas Heart was an asteroid with a solid gold core. A newscaster mentioned early in the video that it passes by the Earth every 75 years and was just three days away at the start of the tale.
2. What color was the bat symbol on the suit Batman was wearing when he first appeared?

Answer: Red

Typically the logo is yellow on most batsuits. Batman was shown flying in the first scene he was in, with a dark red bat symbol on his chest. The suit resembled the design from the series "Batman Beyond".
3. What company was the robot animal breaking into when Batman interrupted it?

Answer: S.T.A.R. Labs

The first villain shown was a giant robot that resembled a wolf. Batman interrupted a theft from S.T.A.R. Labs, but was unable to track down the robot before it got away.
4. Traditionally Dick Grayson served as Batman's kid sidekick. In this film he was portrayed as an adult with what secret identity?

Answer: Nightwing

Nightwing was born when Dick Grayson decided to go out on his own and stop being a sidekick.

Nightwing made his debut in this video, taking on both Cheetah and Killer Croc.

In the comics Nightwing moved to Blüdhaven to patrol the city. Within the confines of this tale he was serving Gotham, just not as Robin.

Within the comic book continuity Grayson did become Batman for a short while as well, but not in this take on the character.
5. Which two heroes who were not members of the "bat family" helped Batman fight the animal themed group of evil-doers?

Answer: The Flash and Green Arrow

The heroes in this tale were Batman, Nightwing, Red Robin (all in the "Batfamily") along with The Flash and Green Arrow.

The five heroes took on Silverback, Killer Croc, Cheetah Man-Bat and The Penguin.

Several names including the "Animaniacs" were thrown around to call the evil-doers. "Animaniacs" of course was the name of another animated series also put out by Warner Brothers Animation studios.

The group called itself the Animalitia.
6. The tallest building in Gotham was holding a grand opening party during the show. What was the name of the building?

Answer: The Aviary

The building was owned by Oswald Cobblepot, and took seven years to construct. Bruce Wayne was among the guests invited to the grand opening party. Police Commissioner James Gordon was also in attendance, but he was suspicious over why Cobblepot had the building built.

The Wayne Enterprises Tower was the second tallest building in the city after the Aviary opened.
7. What was the scene of the major battle between the heroes and four of the villains?

Answer: Gotham Zoo

All but the Penguin were sent to the zoo to steal two rare condors that were on loan.

The five heroes had figured out this was where the heist would be going down and set up an ambush.

Each hero (Nightwing and Red Robin teamed up) managed to best their opponent with only Man-Bat not being captured. Man-Bat managed to free the others and they all fled without the condors.
8. Which villain designed and programmed the three robotic animals used in several attacks?

Answer: Kurt Langstrom/Man-Bat

Langstrom was a scientist who experimented on himself and accidentally turned himself into the Man-Bat. That experiment drove him over the edge caused him to turn to a life of crime.

In this animated adventure Langstrom was able to change back and forth between the two forms. He designed the robotic animals in his human form and fought along side of them in his animal form.
9. Batman used a gun to stop The Penguin from crashing the Midas Heart into Gotham City.

Answer: False

Batman is portrayed to never use a gun, so even under the extreme circumstances he chose to find ways other than killing to stop the villain.

Penguin's plan was to crash the asteroid into the city and then scavenge the gold from the center of it for his own profit.

He used a tractor beam to alter the course of the asteroid.

Batman used a transmitter to match the frequency of Penguin's force field and broke into the tower to alter the programming on the equipment.
10. Who voiced Batman in the adventure?

Answer: Roger Craig Smith

Roger Craig Smith voiced Bruce Wayne/Batman in both "Batman Unlimited" films and for a 22-episode webseries released on the DC Kids' animation internet app.

The "Unlimited" series was actually based on a toy line and turned into animation to help spike the sales of the Mattel toy line.
