I don't know who sends them. I just know whoever sends them is more powerful than me or you, and they're just trying to make things right."

He was in love with Buffy (The Slayer), he killed Jenny (only "Buffy" watchers will know this), and Willow was also an acquaintance, but she was not seen in this episode.

Angel: "Cordelia?"

Stacey: (grabbing Tina's arm) "You come along with me. Russell wants to see you."

Tina: "Leave me alone!" (breaks free, comes up to Angel) "Of course she doesn't have the money yet."

Angel: "Who's that?"

Tina: "Stacey? He's just a creep. Can we please go?"

You just know that's not gonna end well.

Agent: "Cordy, Joe at the Agency. No Luck, again. We're having trouble booking auditions. The networks are saying they've seen enough of you. So, you know, no need to call, I'll buzz you if the situation changes. Bye."

Answer: Denise

Angel: "I'm here. I'm here. Hey. Tina. Did your friend Denise have a tattoo on her left shoulder?"

Tina: "She had a rose."

Angel: "All right, I think she *was* murdered. And there have been others. He picks girls with no family, no one to care."

Answer: fly

Russel: "Angel. We do things a certain way in LA."

Angel: "Well, I'm new here."

Russel: "But you're a civilized man. We don't have to go around attacking each other. Look at me: I pay my taxes. I keep my name out of the paper, and I don't make waves. And in return I can do anything I want."

Angel: "Really?"

Russel: (nodding) "Mmm."

Angel: "Hmm." (putting his foot on Russell's chair) "Can you fly?"

(Angel extends his leg, sending Russell's chair rolling backwards through the window. Russell falls, flaming, to the ground)

Angel: "Hmm. Guess not."

Answer: Cutie

Doyle: "You know there's a lot of people in this city need helpin'."

Angel: "Hmm. So I noticed."

Doyle: "You game?"

Angel: "I'm game."
