Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Baron Silas Greenback?

Answer: Dangermouse

One of my fave shows. Baron Silas Greenback was a toad voiced by Edward Kelsey. His plans for world domination were always foiled by good old DM (and Penfold).
2. Davros?

Answer: Dr. Who

Davros was the leader of the Daleks and was half Dalek, half green humanoid slimy thing. He and his skinny hand used to really give me the creeps.
3. The Hooded Claw?

Answer: Penelope Pitstop

Penelope Pittstop was the heroine, but she was also rescued frequently by The Anthill Mob and Chug-a-boom.
4. The Mysterons?

Answer: Captain Scarlet

The "voice of the mysterons" used to really scare me, and the 2 little circular lights hinted at something much more sinister. "Captain Scarlet" is definitely the best Gerry Anderson creation in my opinion, and Captain Black has got to be the sexiest puppet!
5. Cyril Sneer?

Answer: The Raccoons

Cyril wanted to develop the Evergreen Forest, the home of The Raccoons who defeated him weekly!
6. Moriarty?

Answer: Sherlock Holmes

Possibly the easiest one in this quiz. The best Holmes ever (in my eyes) was Jeremy Brett, who also appeared in "My Fair Lady" and sang (or mimed) "On the Street Where You Live".
7. The Riddler?

Answer: Batman

One of Batman's many foes. The Riddler was always my favourite as his riddles always brought out Robins efforts as blaspheming. Definitely the best bit of the show.
8. THRUSH?

Answer: Napoleon Solo

Many of the THRUSH agents were female, thus giving Napoleon Solo every opportunity to be increasingly smarmy. Napoloeon (Robert Vaughan) worked for U.N.C.L.E along with the utterly gorgeous Ilya Kuryakin (David McCallum). In the first U.N.C.L.E film THRUSH was known as WASP.
9. Cut-throat Jake?

Answer: Captain Pugwash

Captain Pugwash was always getting himself into trouble, but was usually saved by the very sensible cabin boy Tom. Pugwash's ship was "The Black Pig" and Cut-throat Jake's was "The Flying Dustbin".
10. The Master?

Answer: Buffy

The Master was a very villainous vampire in the first series of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer". Dr Who also had an arch-enemy called The Master who was a dastardly timelord.
