Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode began with Megabyte trying one of his patented evil schemes. He was trying to destroy the system by using a special device powered by a magnet. Bob stopped it, but what did he do to stop it?

Answer: Bob used his cutter on the machine and then took the magnet out.

As the episode began, Megabyte's new machine was pointing towards the sky. It powered up and then fired. Megabyte watched with excitement, holding his pet null, "Nibbles", at the same time. In season four, "Nibbles" turned out to be more than just a null, but we'll leave that for a later quiz.

As Megabyte grew more excited at his impending success, Bob arrived and ruined the party. Bob took down Megabyte's virals, and then used his cutter to cut the circuitry on the device. Bob then extracted the magnet from it and put it into a secure case, using Glitch.
2. Returning to Dot's after foiling Megabyte's plan, Bob allowed Enzo to use Glitch. Enzo used Glitch, but he could not control one of it's functions, resulting in the magnet freeing from it's case and striking Dot. What did Enzo get Glitch to do before causing Dot's dangerous situation?

Answer: Turn into a jackhammer

First, Enzo turned Glitch into a hammer. Then Enzo got it to become a flashlight. Afterwards, Enzo told it to turn into a jackhammer. Enzo could not control the jackhammer. Because of that, the magnet fell onto the ground, and then attracted itself to Dot. Attracted to Dot, the magnet then struck Dot in the forehead.

The magnet could have deleted her instantly, but fortunately there was a way that she could be saved.
3. Not knowing how to reverse a magnetic erasure, Bob headed to Phong's for advice. After beating Phong in a game of "Pong", Bob was told that there was really only one solution to stop the erasure. What was it?

Answer: Give Dot some really, really, really, slow food

Impatient at the predicament he was in, Bob ended the game with Phong really fast. Phong then informed Bob that the only solution to magnetic erasure would be to access some slow food for Dot. If her code could not be stabilized in time, she would be completely fragmented and then deleted.
4. Realizing that the only place with the cure was in Level 31, Bob decided to head there. Bob arrived and demanded the cure, fast. Al's waiter found it funny. After Bob took a number and sat down, he realized that everyone was afraid of a binome that looked like the number seven. Bob asked another binome why everyone was scared. What was the binome's response?

Answer: "Because Seven, ate, nine!"

Bob's order was order number 4096. The restaurant was serving number three when he arrived, so he decided to sit and wait. After hearing the binome's response as to why everyone feared number seven, a drummer in the background made the tune used when a punch-line for a joke is given. What the binome said could be understood in two ways.

The first would be literally that seven ate nine. The second could be simple counting: seven, eight, nine. That was clearly the punch-line that the drummer in the back caught onto.
5. After Hack and Slash entered Al's Diner, Bob made a deal to get some food for Dot. Bob would get rid of Megabyte's men for the food. Bob got the food, but as he left the diner, a game began to drop. Bob entered, but did Hack and Slash manage to pursue him into the game?

Answer: No

After Bob left the diner, Megabyte ordered Hack and Slash to pursue him. AS a game began it's descent onto Mainframe, Bob opened up a vid-window behind him. He told Hack and Slash that there would be now way they'd catch him before the game lands. Hack and Slash wondered why, then Bob told them it was because they had stopped to talk.

After realizing that, the two goofs headed for the game claiming that they would make it. Simply put, they didn't make it.
6. Entering the game, Bob heard Dot's cries for help from the castle tower. Realizing that he would have to get to Dot fast before the user could, Bob utilized the help of a certain animal to try and get there faster. What kind of an animal did Bob ride to the castle?

Answer: A dragon

Bob had the slow food, and with Dot in the game, he could deliver it to her. Bob also realized that the user could easily beat Dot if he got to her first, so Bob utilized the help of a dragon, powered by Al and his waiter.
7. One of the most famous instances of the Board of Standard's and Practices' interference with "ReBoot" occurred after the dragon chase between the user and Bob. Bob had to enter the castle through a closed window, so he had Glitch do a "BS&P". What did that do?

Answer: It made the window briefly decompile and then recompile again.

The "BS&P" were really on the "ReBoot" crews' backs when it came to the content on the show. They did not let the creators do anything that they deemed to offensive to children. One of the most famous one's in the creators' memories came in this episode.

As Bob headed for the castle's stained-glass window, he was getting ready to break through when he ordered Glitch to do a "BS&P" on it. It decompiled the window, and immediately recompiled it after Bob went through. The BS&P did not want to allow the window to break into small pieces, because somehow they got the impression that if kids saw it break, they would want to break windows on cars and houses. I know, it's ridiculous!
8. After entering the castle, Bob had to face a boss that looked like a skeleton wearing armor. Clearly outclassed by it, Bob devised an unusual, but clever plan to beat the boss. What did Bob do?

Answer: He had Glitch open up a window from inside of the skeleton.

The skeleton was more skilled with swords than Bob, so Bob had to think of something. The skeleton opened up a pit in the ground, and then Bob jumped into it holding onto the edge for safety. The skeleton looked down and Bob ordered an advertising vid-window to launch from the skeleton's inside. The window burst the skeleton into little pieces, allowing Bob to move on in the game.
9. Hearing Dot's cries for help, Bob made it to the tower of the castle to make a surprising discovery. What was it?

Answer: All of these

Bob hurried to help Dot when he noticed that Enzo rebooted as a damsel in distress. Enzo used a small megaphone to cry for help, but the cries for help were all in Dot's voice. Also, Enzo's legs didn't reach the ground so he was just hanging there in the dress.

After talking with Enzo, Bob reminded himself that he should be saving Dot. At that moment, Dot and the user literally flew into the room. Apparently Dot was all better, thanks to a helpful business connection she had with Al.
10. How was the user of the game defeated?

Answer: He was defeated by Enzo's damsel megaphone.

After the user broke Bob's sword, Bob tossed the remainder of the sword at the user. Bob then realized that they would have to hit the user's icon to injure him. Dot then continued with her sword, striking the user repeatedly until she fatigued too much to do anymore. Enzo then tossed the megaphone at the user, launching him out the window and effectively ending the game.

After the game ended, Megabyte demanded his magnet back from Bob. Bob tossed the magnet at Megabyte, incapacitating him and launching him off of the ledge he was standing on. Megabyte, as well as Hack and Slash, were defeated for the episode.
