Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode started off with a warning about an incoming file. Everyone was excited at the prospect of a new upgrade to Mainframe. As the upgrade began it's descent to the Principal Office, Phong expressed some minor concern over the upgrade. Why was Phong concerned about the upgrade?

Answer: It arrived earlier than expected.

As Dot pressured Bob to get to the Prinicpal Office faster, Phong voiced his concern over how the upgrade arrived much faster than he had anticipated. The upgrade arrived from the skies of Mainframe. It touched down on the Principal Office's roof, encased in a metallic barrel. Bob was not impressed, but Phong and Dot pondered the contents of the container.
2. Before attempting to install the new upgrade, Dot had everyone in town go back to their homes. She also had security officers surround the Principal Office to prevent any viral attacks. Why was that?

Answer: They would need to power down the system to install the upgrade.

After Dot contacted her security troops and told them to protect the centre of Mainframe from virals, Dot told Enzo that she'll talk to him after powerdown. Before powering down Mainframe, Phong opened up a series of giant vid-windows throughout the city. He told them to prepare for the system to powerdown and for the upgrade.
3. As Phong had said, the upgrade was indeed too good to be true. As Phong peeked into the container containing the upgrade, Megabyte attacked Phong with a burst of electricity. After Bob failed to stop Megabyte, Megabyte turned back to Phong. Why?

Answer: Phong had the entry codes to the core.

Megabyte zapped Phong with a green burst of electricity when Phong first looked inside the container. Dot tried to stop Megabyte, but she could not. Bob wanted to defeat Megabyte, but he was temporarily taken out of commission. After Megabyte got rid of Bob, he turned back to Phong.

He knew that he could not infect Phong with his viral code, so he decided to copy Phong's memory into his own and acquire the codes to enter the core.
4. With Megabyte in possession of the codes to the core, he wanted to begin the destruction of Mainframe. Bob, however, showed up to hold him back. With the right orders to Glitch, Bob was decimating Megabyte. Something happened, however, that stopped Bob's heroics. What happened?

Answer: Glitch ran out of battery power.

After Bob used his Glitch to crash Megabyte into a post, Bob was truly on top of the situation. As Megabyte grew more angry and more desperate, Bob tried to get Glitch to continue. What happened, however, was that Glitch ran out of energy while Megabyte was still in the attacking mood. Phong told Dot to leave him, so Bob and Dot escaped Megabyte's pursuit in order to find alternate methods to defeat him.
5. To stop Bob and Dot, Megabyte initiated a special security mode called "Game Mode". What did "Game Mode" do?

Answer: It released dozens of Phong's "Pong" game pieces.

After Bob and Dot escaped, Megabyte engineered the first stages of a system crash. As it began to unfold, Megabyte decided to have some fun with the two sprites in the Principal Office with him. He initiated "Game Mode", which released the "Pong" game pieces throughout the Principal Office's corridors.
6. With the deadliness of the items that Megabyte released, Bob needed an idea to save Dot and himself. Without a clear power source to renew Glitch's power, Bob did the next best thing. What was it?

Answer: He syphoned power from Dot's data planner and gave it to Glitch.

Trapped in a corridor by the exploding "Pong" game pieces, Bob said that he needed power for Glitch from Dot's planner. Dot said that if she lost power, her files would be gone. Realizing that they would be deleted otherwise, Dot gave Bob the planner. After he downloaded it's energy to Glitch, he had Glitch envelope them in a protective field while the "Pong" pieces detonated.
7. In the Read-Only Room, Bob managed to find a node in which he could recharge Glitch. While he was recharging Glitch, Bob was approached by the green astral-projection of Phong. The projection told Bob how he could defeat Megabyte. What did Phong tell Bob to use on Megabyte?

Answer: Megabyte's own greed

As Glitch charged, Phong's weak astral-projection told Bob to use Megabyte's greed against him. After telling Bob the secret to defeating Megabyte, Phong's image faded away. As the situation worsened inside the Principal Office, things were getting much worse outside.

The city was falling apart and the residents of Mainframe were slowly degrading as the system crashed. Bob and Dot would have to act fast to restore everything back to normal.
8. As Megabyte mocked Enzo one last time, Dot showed up, fresh from the armory. What weapon did she utilize very effectively against Megabyte?

Answer: An exo-skeleton suit

As Megabyte told Enzo that no-one could save Mainframe, Dot snuck up behind him with a large exo-skeleton. It was a large, metallic suit that gave Dot even footing in the battle. She knocked Megabyte aside with a well timed left-hook. Afterwards, she flung him to the edge of the core.

After that, Dot tried to crush Megabyte by stepping on him. At first it seemed to work, but a quick burst of strength allowed Megabyte to push her over the edge. Before he could delete her, Bob showed up.
9. After acquiring control of Dot's weapon, Megabyte told Bob to give him a portal to the Supercomputer. Bob raised a special portal room from the core. It housed a portal to the Supercomputer that Megabyte wanted to enter. Did Megabyte leave the system and enter the Supercomputer?

Answer: No

As the portal rose up from the depths, Megabyte was amazed at it's beauty. As he entered, Bob ordered the instant closure of the room. Whilst locked in, the portal to the Supercomputer also vanished, trapping Megabyte. The room turned out to be more than a portal room.

It turned out to be the room where the Principal Office broke down viruses. As Megabyte began to delete, he initiated a self-destruct. Before he could be deleted, Bob ejected him from the Principal Office. Megabyte would live to see another cycle, but so would everyone in Mainframe. Letting Megabyte live was a small price to pay for everyone's safety.
10. After the system crash had been averted, the real upgrade arrived in Mainframe.

Answer: True

After Megabyte had been ejected from the core, power over the system was restored back to Phong. The buildings in Mainframe began to reconstruct themselves while the real upgrade began it's descent on Mainframe. A dizzied Phong told Bob and Dot that he hoped that the upgrade would be a new modem for himself. The contents of the upgrade were never revealed to the viewers.
