Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At the beginning of the episode, Bob was seen talking to Turbo on a vid-window. Turbo offered to send a Viral Strike team to Mainframe to take down Megabyte. Did Bob want their help?

Answer: No

After Turbo heard that Megabyte had become a Trojan-Horse virus, he told Bob that he'd send a special strike team to delete Megabyte. Bob did not want it, because Bob still believed that he could turn Megabyte into a good sprite, just like he did with Hexadecimal. Turbo trusted Bob, but still didn't like the idea of leaving Mainframe alone to it's fate.
2. After speaking with Turbo, Bob revealed to everyone that Megabyte survived the Web because he had some of Bob's guardian code. AndrAIa asked Bob how it was possible for Megabyte to actually get Bob's code. Bob responded by showing her a vid-window replay of the event which resulted in the transfusion of code. How did Megabyte get Bob's code?

Answer: By crushing Glitch in season two, he got the code from Glitch.

At the end of season two, the war between the Web and Mainframe occurred. Before the war ended, Megabyte grabbed Bob's Glitch and crushed it in his hands. When he crushed it, some of the code associated between Glitch and Bob made it's transfer to Megabyte. When Megabyte was sent to the Web in season three, he survived because of the trace amount of guardian code in his system.
3. Disguised as Mike the TV, Megabyte opened a series of vid-windows and essentially told everyone to panic at the return of Megabyte. To counter-act it, Phong tried to calm everyone down. What Phong did, however, was create more panic than before. What did Phong do to make things worse than before?

Answer: He showed the Mainframers an artist's depiction of the new Megabyte.

When Phong appeared in the vid-windows, he expressed a calm demeanor which helped the Mainframers feel calm. He told them to get to their homes and lock all doors. His speech sort of went downhill when he told the Mainframers that there was no reason to panic and then told them that they might have a little reason to. Phong then made the very dumb move of showing an artist's depiction of the new Megabyte. Everyone was scared for good reason.

The picture showed Megabyte with a red glow around him and his claws extended.
4. At Al's Diner, Megabyte showed up to rebuild his viral army. As Al's waiter tried to get away from them, another of Megabyte's new Web powers were revealed. What was this power?

Answer: Retractable tentacles that could turn anything it touches into a viral.

Megabyte showed up at Al's, still disguised as Mike the TV. He annoyed the neo-virals, and they got ready to attack him. Before they could, Megabyte undisguised himself and told them that they were going to rebuild his viral empire. He wanted their PIDs, so he could convert them once again. People who resisted could still be turned, thanks to Megabyte's new Web power. From his arm, a series of tentacles could fly out and attach to any sprite or binome. Once attached, it would turn any of them into a viral.
5. After stealing a Gateway Command from the Principal Office, Megabyte sought access to the Supercomputer. What he did not expect was the Mainframers to show up. Megabyte tried to evade the attacking Mainframers by shapeshifting over and over. How did the Mainframers keep track of him?

Answer: With Matrix's eye.

When Megabyte had the Gateway Command, he was happy at the prospect of leaving Mainframe. As he stepped through the Gateway's portal, nothing happened, he just stepped out the other end of the Gateway. That was when the Mainframers attacked. Using Matrix's eye, the Mainframers kept tabs on where Megabyte was located in the room.
6. With nothing left to turn into, Megabyte turned back to normal. Matrix raised his gun and fired. A tear opened, which Bob promptly turned into a portal. Where did the portal send Megabyte?

Answer: To a Principal Office jail cell.

With Matrix's eye targeting, Megabyte was unable to escape the Mainframers. After Megabyte turned back into his regular viral appearance, Matrix raised his gun. Megabyte told him not to shoot, but Matrix did not care about Megabyte's plead. Matrix fired and produced a tear. Bob turned the tear into a portal to the Principal Office jail. Megabyte was captured.
7. Scanning Megabyte revealed that the Megabyte they had caught in the tear was not Megabyte at all. It was good, because if the hologram would of been real, Matrix would of been deleted.

Answer: True

As Bob and Matrix scanned the jail-cell that housed Megabyte, the scans revealed that Megabtye was technically not even inside the cell. Matrix lowered the shield and lunged at the hologram of Megabyte. Had it been the real Megabyte, Matrix would of been deleted for sure. Before Matrix was able to catch the hologram Megabyte's throat, the hologram slashed Matrix. Had it not been a hologram, Matrix would of been cut to death by Megabyte's razor sharp claws.
8. With the revelation that Megabyte was in the Command Room with Dot, Phong, and the others, the real Megabyte revealed himself. Who was the real Megabyte disguised as?

Answer: Frisket

As the revelation was made, the scene froze to highlight all of the sprites in the Comm-room. As it reached Frisket, the scene unfroze and revealed that Megabyte had disguised himself as Frisket during the siege at his base. The other Megabyte that was captured was an alias that he made thanks to the new abilities granted to him in the Web.
9. With Megabyte unleashing his viral abilities in the Comm-room, the sprites of Mainframe tried to escape. As Mouse and AndrAIa began their escape, Megabyte went to infect them. Who ended up sacrificing themselves to save Mouse and AndrAIa?

Answer: Phong

Megabyte used his tentacles to infect everyone he could within the Principal Office. A few binomes were infected first, and then Megabyte went for Mouse. Mouse cut off all of his tentacles. As she and AndrAIa tried to run away, Megabyte sent another group of tentacles to infect them. Phong noticed, so he jumped in the way and got hit by the tentacles himself. Wellman then tried to run away with little Enzo, but Wellman was also infected by Megabyte. Because of the infection, Wellman took little Enzo back to Megabyte.

By the end, Dot, Hack, Slash, Mouse, AndrAIa, Bob, and Matrix were all that was left to fight Megabyte.
10. Before concluding the episode, several of the sprites that Megabyte sought to destroy had already escaped his clutches. Megabyte then told them all to "Prepare for the hunt". Was a televised resolution ever given to the show?

Answer: No

Unfortunately due to a lack of network support and a lack of financial support, "ReBoot" ended then and there. According to the creators, season four was meant to be a sixteen episode season, just like season three, but it never happened. The show was dropped and they had to stop after Megabyte's final line. Since then, the company that made the show was bought and then renamed "Rainmaker Entertainment". Also, the voice actor for Megabyte, Tony Jay, passed away, and many of the people who enjoyed the show had grown older and less interested in it.

A web-comic was made to continue the adventures, but in my opinion, it was a complete waste of energy that was really painful to try and get through. There is still hope for "ReBoot" as pre-planning for a trilogy of "ReBoot" movies is in the works and should hopefully resolve the events.
