Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What did Gerald put up as collateral to get a credit line from the casino?

Answer: his house

When Randy returned to the blackjack table, Gerald told him that he was down $26,000. He also confessed he had a gambling problem. Randy didn't even understand where his friend had gotten that much money to gamble with, but Gerald told him that the casino had accepted his house "as collateral" and given him credit.
2. The Native Americans wanted to build a "superhighway" that would connect the casino to what city?

Answer: Denver

Because they'd "milked [the] simple mountain folk almost dry," the Native Americans knew they needed to draw people from a larger market. They planned to build a superhighway that would run straight through where South Park currently stood!
3. What did Butters suggest the boys do to raise $300,000 with which to save South Park?

Answer: have a dog parade

Butters suggested a dog parade: "We dress up all our dogs in little outfits, and parade them down the street. It'll be so adorable!" When asked how they'd make the money by doing a dog parade, Butters explained that they would sell tickets to their parents. Stan impatiently pointed out that their parents were the ones in need of the money and dismissed the idea.
4. Watching the Native Americans demolish his home, what did Randy argue life had to offer beyond profits?

Answer: Slurpees

South Park's denizens had gathered to watch their city's demolition begin with the Broflovski house. Randy asked Chief Runs with Premise, the Native American overseeing the demolition, how they could "do this to people." He responded simply, "We're sorry.

But if we do not build a superhighway, our casino might stop seeing profits." Randy argued that there was "more to life than profits," and when Chief Runs with Premise asked him for an example, he hemmed, "Well, like, you know, Slurpees and stuff."
5. At Stan and Kyle's suggestion, the adults took the $10,000 they had raised to the casino and bet it on 31 black at the roulette table. Did they win the spin and get $350,000?

Answer: yes

Unfortunately, they then succumbed to their greed and decided to let it ride, on the logic that if they won again, they could "save the town and be super-rich." Of course, they lost the second spin and were left with no money at all!
6. When the adults joined the boys in blocking the bulldozers, what song were they singing?

Answer: Love Is a Battlefield

The boys refused to abandon their town and blocked the Native Americans' bulldozers as they came into town. They thought everyone else had given up, though, and were thrilled when the rest of South Park's residents came marching over the hill singing their protest song of choice: "Love Is a Battlefield".
7. What did the Native Americans use to infect the people of South Park with SARS?

Answer: blankets

Back at their casino office, the elders donned paper masks and rubbed naked Chinese men on blankets, spreading SARS on the fabric before they could give them to the residents of South Park as a disingenuous gift.
8. What did the "wise man in Bellocreek" pour into a paper bag to induce Stan's "inward journey?"

Answer: paint thinner

The man handed Stan the paper bag soaked in paint thinner and instructed him to breath deeply from it. Stan took some breaths and recoiled. However, when he returned to South Park, he brought with him the cure for SARS.
9. What was NOT one of the elements for curing SARS the "middle-class white way?"

Answer: Skippy Peanut Butter

Within moments of administering this incredible combination, South Park's denizens returned to full health! It was good timing, too, because Chief Runs with Premise was headed back to South Park to take advantage of its residents' weakened state.
10. Did Chief Runs with Premise's son die of SARS?

Answer: no

When Chief Runs with Premise discovered South Park held the cure for SARS, he took the townsfolk to his ailing son, whom they restored to health the middle-class white way. He was amazed that they were able to cure his son when their traditional medicines had been so ineffective. To show his gratitude, he gave all of them "five dollars credit at the casino," and with a little prodding from his wife, agreed to give them their homes back and not build a superhighway through South Park.
